User1787080 Sent on 08/30/2014I don't know what happened with these other reviewers but my experience was fantastic with rivera party.the service I received was incredible from beginning to end.they are very professional, punctualand they went above and beyond to make sure my wedding was perfect. After reading the other reviews I would have to disagree with the other brides and comments they probably didn't do their homework. Before I contacted rivera party I called every vendor on WeddingWire and the knot and the best company that provided the best service at the best price was rivera party. I did my homework. I wanted my day to be perfect!the food was incredible. we had a variety of skirt steak with Italian and it was delicious!I paid $32 per person and got a three course meal with delicious appetizers, sides . The quality of the food was 5 stars quality! The waiters and bartenders were very attentive friendly. Throughout the whole night the whole staff treated us like royalty. All the rentals arrived early and was set up way before my wedding started. the tent, chiavari chairs linens and tableware all looked brand new. We also got up lighting and DJ services. The DJ was amazing never a dull moment! the entire staff work very closely with us and gables prompt and attentive service from the beginning all the way to the day of my wedding. I would advise not to listen to these Brides that wrote these reviews and give them a call and judge for yourself. You will not be disappointed -
User1268752 Sent on 08/01/2013Unbelievable service and the best prices in town. From the moment we met with them we were stoked! There was no haggling on pricing what so ever. Their rentals looked brand new and they had everything we wanted in stock and at the best prices in town (I know because I called every where). We also got an awesome deal for our DJ. From rentals to uplighting, dj, catering,...everything was amazing! My friend used them for her wedding and she strongly recommended we use them too. My wedding was truly unforgettable thanks to A Rivera Event...my superstars!

User1340240 Sent on 09/21/2013Incredible Service!!! A Review Event made my wedding day one to remember. They went above and beyond my expectations!! I can’t thank them enough!!! My wedding coordinator Vanessa was the BEST! I did everything in one place which I loved. Master of ceremonies had the most touching things to add to the ceremony to give it that special touch. Ivan really did a great job in getting our guests on the dance floor. It was really great all the time he took with us for us to have the wedding we have always wanted. The catering was super affordable and there staff was super polite and professional. I can’t wait to renew my vows with them in 5 yrs. I highly recommend this company!!!

User1268511 Sent on 08/01/2013We had decided to have a destination wedding in South Florida, and from the moment that we got in touch with A Rivera Event we were confident that we were in great hands. They knew all of the best locations for the perfect ceremony and reception. They never failed to respond quickly to any of our inquiries, whether they were via email or phone, from the day we first contacted them right up until the reception.
All of their rentals and uplights arrived early and were placed according to our floor plan. When we walked into the reception ballroom we were stunned at how beautiful and perfect everything looked. It was breathtaking to see all the our great ideas and hard work come to life.
They also provided us with our own wedding planner who was always on the ball with all of the information required to make my dream wedding come true. From contracts to appointments, everything was taken care of from day one!
The DJ provided a well organized timeline for all the formalities and did all of the announcements elegantly. All of our favorite songs were played, all special requests were welcomed with a smile and the dance floor was always packed. I could not ask for anything more.
If you're planning to have your wedding in South Florida call A Rivera Event. Their service, rentals and prices are fantastic. -

Everyone was very professional and helpful everytime I called. Even your expertise in helping me with the linens and the order of things. I will be recommending to my friend that is getting married next year. It really turned out exactly how I dreamed it to be.

User1599532 Sent on 04/28/2014I don't have too many positives that I can recall from working with A Rivera Event. It took them almost 2 months before they finally responded to my request for a price quote. When we were in the process of finalizing our rentals, the person we worked with constantly changed the information that we requested, so we would randomly receive an "update" missing several key items- all they had to do was approve the update we made. I believe there is a lack of communication on their end. The DJ that we hired through them didn't play any of the songs that we outlined, a major upset for sure, including our first dance song. The rentals we received, included their furniture, were dirty or key pieces were missing (like serving spoons- unless for some reason those were to be rented separately, something that I was never told). The wait staff barely understood English and were very ineffective; Even after we prompted them several times, they didn't pass out drinks, arrange the food, or collect plates until the very end of the night- entirely unprofessional. They spent most of their time in the venue's kitchen. I will say that their set-up and delivery crew was very efficient and professional, and when our rental time went over the discussed limit, A Rivera Event was accommodating and flexible. *Married Spring 2014* -
User1532129 Sent on 02/11/2014I hired this company for my sons birthday party. I was looking for a entertainer and they were quick to respond and send me a quote. We went through their packages and I was very specific as to what I wanted. I want to say that the entertainer was HORRIBLE. He seemed very inexperienced. One thing I emphasized when booking was that I wanted lots of games due to the fact that it was mostly all boys and face painting and balloons really isn't that amusing for them.
We played 2 very unorganized games. Where kids got hurt due to his lack or awareness to our surroundings and not being organized. After the 4 trick magic show and the never ending parachute game and the 2 games. He proceed to do balloons and face painting.
The boys found the bounce house more amusing.
This was just not what I thought I would be receiving. I must say this was the worst part of child's birthday party. Not even a a genuine laughter from the crowd.
Please consider other vendors before choosing this one. I'd say your better off without an entertainer. -
User1635209 Sent on 05/27/2014Wow... just wow. We hired 2 of their characters, they show up 5m late, undressed, they spend 5-10m getting dressed. The person playing "Captain Jack Sparrow" couldn't have been older than 14 or 15 years old, it was a child and the costume was subpar. After 20m of photos and making their way around, they wave goodbye and left. We paid for a whole hour and got all of 20m. Really really disappointed. I'd recommend you look elsewhere for characters.

Catering 2 hours late (4 hours party)
Character never showed up
Face painting and cotton candy on the contract however didnt have it
Entertainment so bad and boring, 1 person to do all and he was not kids friendly
They will give you attention before signing the contract, after that luck you if they answer.
