Jill Sent on 10/10/2018Everything about this venue is perfect. Working with Kelly was a pleasure, she was so knowledgable and accommodating!!! The venue itself is breathtaking, it is perfectly set up to ensure a party all night long with multiple areas for ceremony and cocktail hour, whatever the bride wants. It is a beautiful drive out to the venue, every part of the property is beautiful, including the bridal cottage for pictures, and it can be shaped to be exactly what each bride wants. Could not recommend more!!!!

Absolutely STUNNING VENUE. There are so many good things to say about this venue and why we picked it.
One of the best parts about this venue is that the rental is for 12 hours, meaning that you can come in early to get ready on site. You can also drop decor off the night before as long as there are no live flowers. Many venues wont let you have a rehearsal on site the night before, but we were able to have ours at 48 Fields which was super helpful. There is an adorable farmhouse with an awesome bridal suite where the wedding party got ready before the ceremony.
There are so many options for where to have your ceremony and they are all equally beautiful. We chose to have ours on the cement pad that they put outside, but you can also choose to have yours in the upper or lower level of the barn, as well as outside of the barn doors on the other side. They are all so beautiful it was really hard to choose. There were gorgeous spring trees blooming which made for awesome pictures.
For cocktail hour, there is a roomy outdoor patio and another shed area that you can use for shade. We were able to borrow tables and lawn games for FREE from the venue. This is the first venue I have ever seen that had so many rentals for free. Tables, chairs, decor, wine barrels, tables, bar fronts, even chargers for the dinner plates. This was one of the main draws about the venue. Also, the venue let us bring in our own alcohol for the bar and choose all of our own vendors, which was also the first venue we encountered that let us do that.
The upstairs of the barn was probably the main reason we booked. It is so beautiful, and the hanging lights are permanently installed. Additionally, the downstairs of the barn was great for dancing after dinner ended. The barn is on a few acres of land which made for gorgeous sunset photos. There was also a ton of parking at the venue.
Kelly was great to work with and always responded to our questions quickly. She didn't just treat us like any other customer, she truly cared and wanted us to have the best day possible. I seriously cannot recommend this venue enough! -

48 Fields was the very first vendor we booked when we began planning our 10/1/22 wedding almost 2 years ago! There are so many reasons why we are so glad that we chose them as our venue! The grounds are beautiful, private, updated, clean, and have a wonderful peaceful air about the place. We loved them because they had the rustic atmosphere we sought, but it definitely showed that the owners took care into making the barn and the guest house ready for a modern wedding experience! Kelly and Meredith worked with us throughout the planning process and guided us towards some amazing vendors, including our beloved wedding planner, B. Mingled! 48 Fields was punctual with their reminders, helpful with their responses, and had so many great suggestions that went into making our day so special. On the day of our wedding, literally not one thing went wrong, and we know that the 48 Fields team was working hard behind the scenes to help orchestrate everything and make the experience what it was. And even though it rained on our wedding day, causing us to relocate the ceremony from the beautiful outdoor patio to the gorgeous lower level of the barn, we wouldn’t have had it any other way. 48 Fields was the perfect place for our marriage to begin! -

We initially looked at 48 Fields because it was a location that could hold both the ceremony and reception inside... but when we came to town and saw the venue it was perfect! Located close to IAD as we had mostly out of town guests, includes tables and chairs, ample parking, climate controlled, etc. Kelly is constantly looking at ways to enhance the experience including the the bridal suite, twilights and soon to open bridal getting ready house!! Kelly was fantastic at getting back to me at all times and days. Having a smaller wedding, around 85, made the space feel full but we still had a great dance floor. -

Kelly and Shannon at 48 Fields are professional, organized, and so much fun to work with! They listened to all of our needs and worked with us to accomplish the exact wedding we desired! They're flexible, organized, and overall a pleasure to work with. Along with them being great people, the venue itself is beautiful and has this special "magic" about it, that once my wife and I saw it, we knew it was perfect to host our wedding :) -

This venue is very nice, all the spaces are beautiful. The farm house (getting ready space) was very clean. I was fortunate to have no rain on my wedding day so we could have our ceremony on their lovely patio but they do have a very nice indoor ceremony location should you decide to have your wedding indoors or are unfortunate to have it rain. They have indoor bathrooms which was great too. The reception space is stunning. All the already included lighting/uplighting is breathtaking. All my guests talked about how great the space was.
They have a ‘Something Borrowed’ collection which you can borrow items to use during your wedding so you don’t have to buy or bring them yourself which was great. They have things like lanterns and barrels and signs and lawn games.
We opted for a fire pit too which was cool for the guests to sit around and enjoy and the venue team managed all the setup and takedown of it for us as well.
Our wedding day was perfect and we had a wonderful experience working with Sarah and Kelly as they were very professional, friendly and communicative throughout the whole process.

48 Fields was everything we dreamed of... absolutely breathtaking! We had friends and family talking about how beautiful the venue was.The first day my husband and I went searching for venues, we knew the moment Steve took us into the barn that 48 Fields was the place for us! Kelly and Steven both were such a pleasure to work with and really made sure the venue was perfect since there was a wedding the day before. Kelly was very responsive whenever we had questions or any concerns. -

They had a back-up plan for the rain (that we had to implement) and everyone stayed relatively dry as they had spare umbrellas on hand! The space is absolutely stunning and we received a ton of compliments for how beautiful everything was. I would highly recommend 48 Fields!

My husband and I got married at 48 Fields just two weeks ago. We were extremely pleased with the quality of service at this venue. Kelly was communicative and always willing to accommodate our needs. The grounds and venue were always spotless and everything ran like a well-oiled machine. Their recommended vendor we hired (P.I.G.S. BBQ) provided delicious food and wonderful service the day-of. Our wedding day was even better than we expected and we would recommend 48 Fields to any couple looking for a venue in Northern Virginia. -

Planning a baby shower during a global pandemic is no easy feat. Especially when it's the first grandbaby, and it's taken years of trying and praying. Fortunately for us, our maternity photographer recommended going to 48 Fields for our photoshoot, so we reached out to Kelly...we instantly fell in love!
The gorgeous white barn is set perfectly on the most picturesque backdrop! We hosted a completely safe and socially distanced baby shower for 40 people. There was seating on the first floor of the barn, the second floor of the barn, the top deck outside, the bottom deck outside, and there was even a three sided barn we could have used had we felt the need to spread out even more.
In addition to the space, Kelly and team are easy to work with and pay attention to every logistical detail. We worked through all of the table settings, seating needs, and decorations. They even have a Something Borrowed collection which allows clients to use various items for the event, at no additional charge. There are lanterns, and chargers, and signs, etc. (All the items that you would have to buy multiples of and then never use again.)
If you are looking for a beautiful event venue that will host a small or large celebration, look no further. You will not be disappointed! -

Kelly and Sarah were extremely helpful in helping us get our dream wedding. We only had a few weeks to plan our wedding and the team at 48fields took all the stress from my wife and I and gave us a beautiful wedding. They make you feel comfortable and keep reminding you that this is your wedding, whatever you want and need, they'll do their best to make it happen. -

Beautiful venue!
When my husband and I first started to look for wedding venues, 48 Fields was the first venue we toured and we loved it so much! It set the bar pretty high when we tried to look at other venues haha. Kelly and Meredith were so nice, professional, organized and great at communicating when we had any questions. The venue is so beautiful especially with the lights in the upper barn and I liked that there were no beams inside unlike some other barns. I also loved that they have a Something Borrowed collection where we can borrow decor from them such as the arbor, moongate, signs, and many more! Definitely recommend this beautiful venue.☺️ -

Beautiful venue
We chose 48 Fields because of their beautiful indoor ceremony space. Most venues have an indoor ceremony option, but 48 Fields is unique in that the indoor ceremony location is completely separate from the reception space. We had a March wedding and knew that it would likely be too cold for any of our guests to be outside (and we were right- it was freezing the day of our wedding and snowed the day after!) The lower level of the barn is bright and clean, a perfect blank canvas for any decor. The entire venue is newly renovated, and the venue rental itself comes with SO much: tables, chairs, and a farmhouse for getting ready in. We borrowed a lot of decor from their Something Borrowed collection, items that would have been expensive to rent or purchase separately (e.g., moon gate, champagne wall). The reception space is already decorated with lights, so we saved on reception decor as well. All in all, we had a great experience working with 48 Fields Farm and had a wonderful time at our wedding. Thank you Kelly, Meredith, and Sarah for all your help! -

The venue is absolutely beautiful and you can tell that it is taken care of very well. Getting ready on site at the farmhouse was so relaxing and special. Kelly and Steve were amazing to work with, and were extremely attentive and responsive from day 1 of booking, all the way up to my wedding day. Kelly and I communicated quite frequently to ensure that I had a timeline, that the venue was set up how I wanted it to be, and to make sure that no details went overlooked!
I love that I was able to use all of the spaces of the barn and outside! We had our ceremony outside and were able to use both the seating and wedding arbor from the venue. We decided to use both levels of the barn because they are both so beautiful. We used the upstairs space for our dinner/reception, and the downstairs for the dancing and cake cutting! I was also lucky enough to have a summer wedding with an air conditioned barn, so that was also a plus! 48 Fields is the perfect spot for a wedding that is rustic, romantic, and intimate. -

We had our wedding at 48 fields on 7/17/21…we were originally scheduled for 4/24/21 and had to push it due to covid. Kelly was so easy to work with in a stressful time. She was extremely organized and made it easy to make decisions. The venue itself is so beautiful and has wonderful options for both indoor and outdoor. My wedding day was extremely stress-free due to her staff. We got so many compliments of what a wonderful venue we chose and how comfortable everyone was there. There are also so many wonderful places for photos! I would highly recommend 48 Fields to everyone! -

48 Fields is a must hire!
We’d really recommend 48 Fields, the venue is gorgeous and was perfect for our wedding. We originally scheduled our wedding for March 28, 2020, and they worked with us on rescheduling twice due to the pandemic and were extremely helpful along the way. During this time, we saw how much the venue changed—Kelly is very committed to continuing to update/renovate the property and offer additional amenities—you’re likely to benefit from this during your contract! During our 2+ year contract they fully renovated the farmhouse (absolutely perfect to get ready in), removed the old farmhouse, built out the outdoor ceremony space, expanded parking, added the Something Borrowed shop…and I’m probably forgetting a lot else!! We also took full advantage of the Something Borrowed shop, we were able to avoid renting/buying a bunch of smaller stuff (signs, table numbers, easels, chargers, etc) Working with Kelly and Meredith was great, they were always very responsive and accommodating (particularly for 4-months pregnant me, who needed a bunch of couches/comfy chairs available). It’s also clear that they’re super experienced in the industry in general, providing a lot of helpful guidance and information. Overall, the venue was gorgeous, an incredible value for the price, and were so easy to work with. There is no reason why you shouldn’t book them for your next event!! -

48 Fields was the most incredible venue for me and my now husband's October wedding celebration. From our first interaction with Kelly and Steve we knew we were in great hands and working with people who genuinely cared about helping us have the best day EVER! It is no surprise that everyone we worked with from 48 Fields held the same level of professionalism and care. We worked most closely with Meredith who was simply wonderful - a master of details and always very quick to respond to my (sometimes endless!!) list of questions leading up to the big day :) The spaces in 48 Fields are beautiful, romantic and made a perfect backdrop for key moments - from cocktail hour on the deck with the lower level of the barn for older guests who wanted a quiet space to catch up, the upper level of the barn for dancing, speeches and dinner - simply magical. Beyond the beautiful spaces at 48 Fields, they were very helpful in providing recommendations for wonderful and trusted vendors in the area - such as our photographer Stefanie Kamerman, who shared some of the attached sneak peaks from our big day. Adorable space, high value with professional venue team
I have been waiting to have our wedding party at 48 Fields for over 2 years! Kelly (owner) was flexible with helping us reschedule our reception. The wait was worth it - venue is gorgeous, guest suite (where bridal party gets ready) is adorable and spacious, and the venue's staff is so helpful and accommodating. Kelly is always improving the space, and currently expanding the upper barn. -

We can't express how happy we were with 48 Fields for our wedding venue! We were in search of a venue for a small wedding, and 48 Fields had a micro-wedding package option where they set up all the vendor contracts. This was perfect for us! We visited the site and met with Kelly- we were both so impressed and booked a date as soon as we could! We then worked with Kelly and Meredith, who answered all our questions, kept us on track and made sure we were connected with all the vendors to prepare for our day. They were responsive and helpful, as well as friendly and fun to work with. They made the planning process stress-free and enjoyable!
Our wedding day was everything we hoped for, and we owe it all to this exceptional venue, the micro-wedding package, and the amazing vendors we had the pleasure to work with. Our guests were so impressed with the whole event, from the scenery, the architecture and care of the buildings, and with how smoothly everything flowed. Our whole day was so personal, sweet, and romantic. It was a dream. If you are looking for a charming wedding location or an all-inclusive type of micro-wedding experience, this venue is an absolute gem! We have such happy memories from our day. Demi Sent on 06/28/2018Kelly and Steve were phenomenal! I cannot say enough about 48 Fields. It is truly a hidden gem and we couldn't be happier with our decision in a venue. This venue is super versatile and the options are truly endless. Kelly was receptive from the initial point of contact and was always very quick to respond to any questions we had. After our tour of the venue it was clear that this was going to be the perfect wedding venue.
There is ample parking and usable space throughout the property. There are tons of spots for the perfect photo. We utilized the field across from the barn as our ceremony space, the lower level of the barn/back patio for our cocktail hour, and the upper level for our reception. Although this seems to be typical of most weddings, you can really do whatever suits your needs. Kelly always made that very clear.
Last year when we booked the venue the barn did not have a/c and there was really no "getting ready" space. Since last June, Kelly and Steve have added a/c to the barn and a beautiful bridal cottage. The property just seems to keep evolving and we couldn't have been happier with the changes.
Throughout the wedding planning process Kelly was always giving us recommendations and input from past experience but was always on board with whatever we wanted to do. The preferred list of vendors made up a majority of our wedding team and we couldn't have been more pleased. Kelly recommends some of the best vendors in the industry.
We had the potential of rain on our wedding day. I decided at the last minute to keep the ceremony outside. Although, it rained only during our ceremony it really couldn't have been more perfect. Kelly saved the day when one of our vendors showed up late and guests were already arriving. We truly felt like Kelly always had everything under control. We couldn't have been happier with choosing 48 Fields as our wedding venue. Even in the rain it is one of the most beautiful wedding venues in Loudon County. -

Best Day Ever!
48 fields turned our dream wedding into a reality. From the moment we saw the venue, we knew it was the perfect spot for us to get married. We had a small micro wedding with our closest friends and family. The night was absolutely perfect, even Santa decided to come and crash it!
From the moment we met Kelly and her team we knew planning our wedding would be a breeze. The list of vendors made choosing every thing from food, flowers, and cake so stress free. The barn itself is beautiful, we were able to jazz it up with just a few extra items. The day ran smoothly thanks to the wonderful staff. We are so grateful that we found the perfect spot to celebrate the biggest and best day of our lives so far! -

My wife and I were unbelievably pleased to host our wedding at 48 Fields! 48 Fields was the first venue that we toured and we immediately fell in love with it. Even after doing our due diligence it was a no brainer: amazing facility, great rain plan, resources onsite, a stellar list of vendors. Interpersonally, Kelly and her team are exceptional and attend to every question and need with professionalism and collaboration. In a lot of ways making the first choice of 48 Fields made all the subsequent choices all the more easy. If we had to redo our wedding, we wouldn't change a thing! -

48 Fields is so professional and amazing. The venue is elegant and everything I dreamed of for my wedding day. I highly recommend checking them out. If you are want a modern elegant wedding look but with some rustic style, this is your venue! The farmhouse is beautiful and modern. Perfect for getting ready with your wedding party. There are multiple options on the property to have your ceremony. It was very important to us to have our dogs a part of our wedding, 48 Fields is pet friendly so it meant everything us to have them there. Cocktail hour is great! There is a bunch of space, high top tables, games for the guests, and a beautiful deck off the barn for guests to gather and drink. Inside of the barn is my favorite! Perfect setup and space for a reception. It’s modern and rustic all in one. My favorite part was being able to have the long tables and the satin ivory table cloths. We also got our own wooden sweetheart table with a big comfy chair to share. I could say so many great things about 48 Fields. The staff are amazing and so helpful! You can also borrow decor from this venue which is a major plus! We had our wedding here this past October 2024. I highly recommend a fall wedding here!!!! My family and friends couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful our wedding was. -

I would not hesitate to use 48 Fields again for even large events, but for my wedding it was absolute perfection. It was everything I wanted. I hunted for the right venue and wanted something with a winery feel and good outdoor space, but also one I wouldn't have to worry about the weather. 48 Fields delivered and more. The outdoor space is gorgeous with lovely view and perfect for pictures, the parking was convenient, and the barn was lovely. It actually rained the day of and I thought I would be more upset to move inside, but I actually loved using the bottom of the barn better than the outdoor space. There was tons of room, Kelly and her husband were on site and ready to alter plans when the weather changed and were extremely available to viewing the property and working with our vendors. The space is gorgeous, their communication was on point, and the convenience of having them able to recommend good vendors, knowing their property well and having the flexibility of private property to bring our own alcohol and food set them apart from any of the other spaces we looked at. I could not recommend them more. -

Stop Searching – You've Found Your Venue!!!
48 Fields is an absolutely magnificent venue with a variety of spaces for wedding day activities and an utterly enchanting reception hall! We wanted our special day to be fairytale chic, with touches of whimsy—and the vibes were provided (it’s easy when you have such a beautiful canvas to work with)!
We chose 48 Fields as our wedding venue for a few reasons…
1. It’s affordable and provides a lot of value for the price.
2. It’s an absolutely gorgeous restored barn (with AC) that has different spaces on the property for the ceremony and MANY spots that are great for photos (shared a variety of pics from our day to show how versatile it truly is)!
3. The venue has an entire getting ready HOUSE for the bridal party.
4. Location is easier to navigate to than some of the other rustic barn venues in the area, which made it more appealing to us so guests wouldn’t have a long drive/ride.
5. The staff is really friendly and genuinely passionate about weddings and events!
These are the reasons compelled us to say “YES!” to this venue at first, and there are several reasons more that made us grateful for finding such a wonderful venue with wonderful, caring.
In the weeks leading up to our ceremony, the 48 Fields team was so patient, professional, accommodating. And on the day of they were calm and helpful—taking care of some issues that arose and assisted in moving decor from ceremony to reception which were things we never asked for them to do, they just took the initiative to do.
The owners, Kelly and Steve, are always investing into the venue, which makes it more beautiful with time and shows that they really take care in their work. It’s truly a stunning property that hires good people who are going to make sure you have the wedding of your dreams! -

Kelly was amazing to work with. She answered any questions that I had within a timely manner. You can clearly tell she knows what she is doing. The venue itself was gorgeous. The decorations with the lights for the reception area gave the feeling of rustic but also romantic. My husband and I loved that we had the whole place to ourselves for the day. We also loved the option for the wedding to be inside or outside depending on the weather, and that it can be decided the day of the wedding. I really liked the extra stuff Kelly had that I could use for that day instead of having to buy it all. -

From initial contact through the big day, Kelly, Steve, and the team are a breeze to work with and are clearly experienced experts. No detail was overlooked, no questions went unanswered, and it truly feels like they give their all to making your unique day shine bright. The multiple ceremony site and cocktail hour options are so versatile and took away the stress of weather. The barn and farmhouse are immaculate, and the grounds could not be more stunning. We could have taken photos for hours and hours; our photographer was constantly inspired. Months later it’s the venue that we’re still hearing about from our friends and family, and my new husband and I will never forget 48 Fields. -

Our original wedding (at a different venue) had to be rescheduled due to a death in the family. That venue was closing for remodeling, so we had to begin the whole process all over again. When we found 48 Fields, I felt in my heart it was the right choice for us. Our wedding on June 30, 2024, was so incredibly lovely, thanks in no small part to Kelly and her team. They were super responsive along the way and made the whole planning process very smooth and stress free. The venue is beautiful, and all of the vendors they recommended were fantastic. I would absolutely recommend 48 Fields. We had our ceremony on the lower floor and our reception upstairs. The ceremony decor, the linens, the lighting, the acoustics, everything was perfect. Please don't hesitate to schedule a tour - you will fall in love with the venue! -

The owner and staff at 48 Fields (Kelly and Meredith) were incredibly professional, punctual, attentive, detailed, and helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process. They communicated timelines when certain wedding planning activities would happen to give us advance notice and were easy to talk to. They were also incredibly responsive and great with communication. They helped identify vendors for us to use and engaged with vendors to coordinate as needed. Additionally, the venue is beautiful and has an incredible ambiance. We had several options for where we could have our ceremony, back up options in case of rain, and there were several spots for great wedding photos. We had a wonderful wedding. -

It was perfect, to say the least! My mom, sister, and I were able to get ready in the bridal cottage. It was so convenient and beautiful.
Our ceremony was on the first floor of the barn. It was bright and beautiful.
Kelly provided us with the pergola arbor, with the beautiful with cloth on it. We also used the white chairs provided by the venue and they were prefect! During our walk through, Kelly took notes to help us set the room up to our liking. I have to say, it was truly a blessing. All we really needed to do was get ready and get married!
Kelly helped with coordinating and keeping everyone in schedule. She assisted with the line up of the bridal party, and made sure my groom couldn't see me until I walked down the aisle.
I honestly couldn't have asked for a more beautiful wedding than what 48 Fields provided us with! -

A Magical Venue!
We couldn't have picked a better venue for our wedding than 48 Fields. When we toured 48 Fields in January 2020, we fell in love with the variety of options that we had for various parts of the wedding. The farmhouse is set up as a bridal suite, which is gorgeous, bright, and has all the amenities you could ask for. 48 Fields was by far the most flexible with regards to weather adjustments (as spring in VA can be unpredictable), even allowing us to move the ceremony inside the morning of if we needed to. The variety of options for ceremony space was a huge plus, and the downstairs of the barn was the best rain plan we saw. As regulations regarding lockdown and gatherings shifted regularly, Kelly and Sabrina were extremely flexible, accommodating, and professional. -

Highly recommend 48 Fields! The venue is amazing - beautiful outdoor ceremony sites (with a great backup indoor space), incredibly beautiful modern barn space for the reception, and awesome houses for the wedding parties to get ready. Kelly and Sarah were so helpful throughout the process - Sarah was our site manager for our wedding day, and she was so helpful and supportive! -

Beautiful venue with an excellent venue team!
We cannot speak highly enough of 48 Fields; it is truly an all-around dream venue! First, Kelly is such a warm and caring person and graciously answered all of our questions during our tour. She also was super patient with us as we waffled on our date, which even required her to update our contract twice before our families finally settled and we could sign the contract. I appreciated how responsive she was in the year+ leading up to our wedding, expertly answering our questions and providing guidance on different vendors. She has a list of preferred vendors (not required to use, but you do get discounts on your venue fee if you do) and we ended up using one of the caterers (Old Blue BBQ), day-of coordinator (Vida Events), and photographer (Stefanie Kamerman) and they were all phenomenal! It really helped us narrow things down since there are so many vendors out there and it can be hard to decide. I had asked Kelly about a vendor that wasn’t on her list and she did a little research on her own and pointed out a few things that she typically saw as red flags in wedding vendors. It was great to have her as a resource with her experience in this industry.
As we got closer, we were assigned a day-of contact, Meredith. She helped us sort out important final details and was also super responsive and lovely to work with. She met with us and other key vendors during the venue walkthrough and made sure we were all on the same page and had things like our rain plan and all that nailed down. It was pretty smooth sailing all the way through to the wedding day. No complaints here!
We also appreciated how much is included in the rental and the other amenities that can be added. The rental fee included use of the whole property – tables, chairs (ceremony and reception), luxury bathroom trailer (although it looks like they might be finishing the barn addition that includes bathrooms soon!), and other furniture for cocktail hour. There is also a whole collection that includes décor, table numbers, and outdoor games that you can borrow, which saved us having to buy/resell those types of things. You can also add-on other amenities like a fire pit (which we did so we could have s’mores) and LED wands for your send off.
For the venue itself – it is just beautiful. We loved that it was far enough away from the hustle and bustle to feel like a quiet, intimate venue, but it was still close enough that we didn’t have to trek far from where we live in Herndon. The farmhouse is so cute and provides plenty of space for the whole wedding party to get ready in and hang out. There are two amazing outdoor ceremony spaces as well as an indoor ceremony/cocktail hour space. The reception hall is also beautiful. With all these options, they can easily put together a rain plan and make decisions at the last minute without you having to rent any tents or anything like that. There was rain forecast for our entire weekend and I was fully at ease since both the indoor and outdoor options were so lovely. We were able to hold the ceremony outdoors, but they had set up cocktail hour on the first floor of the barn, which turned out to be perfect since the rain started right after we got everyone inside. The rain did let up and we were able to take more photos around the property later in the evening. We got sneak peaks back and they are gorgeous! I’m only a little sad that the rose bushes by the deck hadn’t bloomed quite yet.
Long story short: you should book 48 Fields if you’re looking for an intimate, quiet, and beautiful venue with a team that knows their stuff and cares about you and your special day as if it was their own. This venue will only get better as they finish their projects in the coming months. -

Janessa Sent on 09/30/201848 Fields is absolutely incredible. This is a venue that glows with such natural beauty, both inside the two-level barn and the outdoors surrounding it. From the moment we pulled up to the venue for our initial tour, we had a great feeling. After meeting Kelly and Steve, we knew this was the right choice! Their responsiveness throughout the months leading up to our wedding was unparalleled, and they made sure our day went perfectly. Over a month later, we are still receiving compliments from our 8/18 wedding! We also cannot get over how much was included in the cost - And the fact that they have air conditioning was so important because it is hot in August! It did rain a bit, but the indoor backup plan on the lower level was just as beautiful as our original outdoor plan, and they even had umbrellas on hand just in case someone needed one.
Compared to other venues we had visited prior to 48 Fields, this was not only the best deal but also the most beautiful. You cannot go wrong with choosing this venue for your special day!

The Best Experience!
From the moment my now husband and I did our first sight visit at 48 Fields Farm, we new this was venue for our wedding. The barn itself is absolutely stunning, its like a beautiful Pinterest dream with the rustic chandelier lighting and hardwood floors. The bottom floor (where we had our ceremony) also has such an open feel with tons of natural light. We had about 95 guests and it never felt crowded, it was just right. They also provided chairs, tables, wine barrels for props, and lawn games. The best part of this barn is that it has AC! Believe me, AC is a rare find for this type of venue and in the summer months it makes a big difference. They also just built a beautiful farm house that is used for the bridal party to get ready and it is lovely. We were fortunate enough to be the first wedding to use it and it was such a spacious and comfy place to prepare for our big day.
Kelly and her team were amazing to work with. They have excellent email communication and I always felt like I had very quick responses from their team. Kelly does an excellent job of outlining important due dates, recommend vendors, as well as their policies. They made the wedding planning process smooth and easy. I would highly recommend this venue. -

Great venue that made our magical day
Kelly and her team were wonderful from the start! She is very easy to work with and very professional, responsive and patient! She made sure we had the right uplighting for our day since we wanted a rainbow uplighting. She helped with suggesting of colors and the overall wedding questions.
The venue is beautiful and very well maintained. Sarah and Kelly were both on-site to make sure everything went well. The sunset pictures are gorgeous.
We loved having our wedding at 48 Fields and so glad they welcomed us and our family and friends. Everyone is still talking about how beautiful it was.
They made it a magical day for us.
I would also just suggest, when you use 48 fields that going with their vendors is a little bit easier than going outside their vendors because of insurance.
Wonderful experience- no complaints- the best day for my wife and I! -

Look no further than this venue for your wedding. Kelly and Meredith were so responsive from DAY ONE up until the wedding day. I knew this was the venue from the very first conversation we had where I had clicked "I'm interested" and then got a text immediately. After scheduling a tour, I knew that this was where we would start our lives together. It is such a beautiful space with multiple places to hold your ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. The staff was very professional and helpful with last minute details. They recommended great vendors and was so pleasant to work with. I cannot recommend 48 Fields highly enough! This was the first and last venue we toured, and you will LOVE it too! With having to reschedule so much due to COVID, we cannot recommend 48 Fields enough. They were AWESOME! -

Incredible Venue! Amazing!
This venue is amazing! We had our wedding and reception in March of 2022 and could not have been happier. 48 Fields is beautiful and is everything you could want. Kelly and the whole 48 Fields team rock and worked with us through the entire process. You will not be disappointed and your guests will be incredibly impressed with this venue! There is a lot of space in and around the venue as well if your guests want to get away from loud music or talk with guests. It is stunning, amazing, and beautiful. The cost is very reasonable as well given the cost of venues in the DMV. -

48 Fields was truly the wedding venue of our dreams! Gorgeous property, with multiple options for ceremony locations and a gorgeous farm house for getting ready. Our bridal party was able to enjoy the morning of the wedding in a comfortable and clean space. Monica was our point of contact for our wedding and she was phenomenal! So kind, organized, and thoughtful, she made everything so seamless, answering questions we had before we could even ask them! We also had the pleasure of working with Macy Schilling, the new owner of 48 Fields as our day of coordinator and we truly do not have enough kind words to say about her. She is cool, calm and collected on a day that has so many moving parts. We felt at ease with Macy, and were able to relax and enjoy our wedding, knowing she took care of everything. 48 Fields took our vision and ran with it, making everything that we wanted possible and then some.
As a couple who spent the week before their wedding nervously watching the forecast as rain was projected, we were comforted knowing that 48 Fields has an equally beautiful and well thought out rain plan. The lower barn is beautiful and bright, and we used it during our cocktail hour, and our guests loved it. The upper barn is used for the reception space, and when touring, this was what sold us on the venue. The dark wood and vaulted ceilings are beautiful, and is a beautiful canvas to use to bring your wedding vision to life, without having to bring in too much outside decor. We could not recommend 48 Fields and their team enough to couples who want a beautiful, renovated barn wedding in Northern Virginia! -

48 Fields was the only venue we need to tour for our wedding. We fell in love instantly! Kelly and Steve have created such a perfect place. There are infinite spots for beautiful photos and so many different options for your ceremony. For me, it was really important not to risk rain and they are one of the only places I could find where you could have plenty of space for your ceremony inside as well as the reception yet still get a slight change of scenery. The farmhouse for getting ready is also perfect. It’s a beautiful space and we were able to fit our whole wedding party the whole morning and not have to worry about renting another spot or being scattered around the area. Sustainability was also really important for our wedding and we not only saved a bunch of money through their decor rentals but also didn’t have to worry about buying something like table numbers for a single use. Amazing venue and amazing staff all around! -

Choosing a venue was a nerve wracking experience, it was the first big decision we were to make while planning our wedding and I can 100% say that we're completely happy we chose 48 fields. The owners were friendly, responsive, and very accommodating of our requests from setting up to scheduling appointments for our family and wedding planner to view the venue beforehand. The venue is set up perfect for a wedding, with an amazing cocktail area indoor and out, as well as a beautiful dining area. The weather was iffy during for our wedding day but thanks to 48 fields flexibility and multiple choices for indoor and outdoor setups we didn't have to worry about it. Highly recommend. -

48 Fields was absolutely perfect! From start to finish, Meredith and her team went above and beyond to make our day seamless and magical. The venue itself is stunning which you wouldn’t necessarily expect for a barn-style venue but everything from the wooden interior for the reception to the breathtaking views create such an elegant and cozy atmosphere. Every detail from the decor to the catering service was executed flawlessly.
The staff were incredibly attentive, communicative throughout the process, and professional, making us feel so at ease and taken care of. They listened to our vision and brought it to life better than we could’ve imagined. Our guests gave us such great feedback of how beautiful everything was. Our guests really appreciated the little things like s’mores by the fire pit and playing corn hole outside.
If you’re looking for a venue is modest yet has charm, character and exceptional customer service look no further than 48 Fields. It was the best decision for our autumnal wedding. You won’t regret it! Highly, highly recommend! -

48 Fields is such a gorgeous venue! My husband & I were quick to decide that 48 Fields is where we wanted to get married. The entire property is so beautiful- they have plenty of locations on site to take pictures & hold a ceremony. A big selling point for us was the upper level of the barn and the flexibility of being able to hold our ceremony & cocktail in different locations if needed. Kelly truly helps make the wedding planning process as stress free as possible. She was always so professional and helpful, as well as the venue manager, Sarah! Kelly provided us with a list of recommended vendors that we used and it was the best decision ever! All of the vendors she recommended were absolutely amazing and such a pleasure to work with. Sarah & her assistant Mariah were also so sweet and helpful, especially the day of the wedding. Our wedding day ended up going so smoothly & stress free thanks to them! I would highly recommend having a weeding at 48 fields- i couldnt be happier with the whole process & how magical our night was. Kelly and her staff really helped bring our vision to life. Troy and I chose this venue after exploring a couple other options back in early 2021 and fell in love! 48 Fields not only has an incredible team of their own but they also work with the best vendors around as well!! Their preferred vendors list is incredible and helped us secure basically everyone we needed. Another super unique aspect about 48 Fields is you literally need minimal decor! With their something borrowed inventory it made things super easy for me because I could use a lot of what they had available to me instead of purchasing all new decor. Overall, our guests raved over our ceremony and had a blast during our reception! -

Perfect Micro-Wedding & Elopement Package!
My husband and I were originally going to get married in November 2021. However, we needed to speed things up a bit with me losing my health insurance at end of May, and I am immune compromised. I went micro-wedding planning action immediately. It is actually quite tricky to find a venue that offers elopement and micro wedding packages (even with being in the wedding/hospitality for years!), but 48 Fields has a stellar elopement package! Kelly was right there to help us put it all together in 2.5 weeks for a 30 person wedding with our super close friends and family. She assisted with coordination of cake + officiant, choosing & setting up their beautiful decor from Something Borrowed collection, setting up our layout & vision to success, and made sure the sanitary precautions were put in place. They even brought our biggest dream to light, which is having our two dogs with us for the big day. Her and Steve are truly amazing to work with, and you would be crazy not to your intimate wedding here! -

The venue itself is beautiful; but what really sealed the deal was meeting Steve, Kelly, and then working with their coordinator, Sarah. They know what they are doing and took great care of us. They listened to what we wanted and guided us through a normally very stressful process.
We had originally planned for the ceremony to be held indoors, but it was much too cold. They were flexible and moved us inside without a hitch.

My husband and I cannot say enough wonderful things about 48 Fields. It was the 9th venue we looked at -- and the last. After touring with the owner Kelly, we got in the car, looked at each other and said, "well this is it." We were so excited that day and we get goosebumps every time we drive up the road and make a left into the driveway :)
Not only is 48 Fields stunning inside and out, but it is the perfect place to host a wedding. There are so many different areas where guests can go (upstairs, outside, downstairs) that it never once felt like everyone was crammed in the same space. You also don't need to provide a ton of decorations because the place is beautifully lit - both upstairs and downstairs - and the landscaping is stunning! They also have a Something Borrowed collection - which is AMAZING - because it saved us so much money on buying decorations. Definitely take advantage.
Not only that - but Sarah and Kelly are lovely people and really understand weddings. They are incredibly organized and send out reminder emails to keep you on track with payments, wine/cider selections, linen selections, vendor selections, etc. They also provide you a list of Preferred Vendors which is great because it helps eliminate a lot of companies without ever having to search!!
We went through a lot of stress and anxiety on our day because there was rain in the forecast starting at the time of our ceremony, but Sarah and our coordinator walked us through everything and made the switch to indoors just hours before the wedding. If anything went wrong on the day we had no idea because they kept everything running so smoothly!!
Most importantly, Kelly and her team share in your joy and excitement throughout the whole process - which makes it even more fun!! They make you feel so special even though they are handling so many other weddings. SO don't wait - book your wedding with 48 Fields now!!! -

When my husband and I were looking at venues for our December wedding, we knew we wanted a venue with a beautiful indoor ceremony space. As soon as we toured 48 Fields, we knew that it was perfect. Kelly and Shannon were incredibly kind, communicative and professional from the beginning, and their professionalism made the wedding planning process seamless. They worked so hard to bring our vision to life and it was gorgeous. The space is naturally so beautiful and romantic, it was perfect for the cozy winter wedding we were going for. Additionally, we loved being able to borrow decor from their "Something Borrowed" collection. Having the farmhouse to get ready in made the day so much more relaxed as well. We were lucky enough to find 48 Fields and be able to use their all inclusive package for a Friday night wedding. They helped us immensely by getting all of our main vendors immediately and were flexible when I had a florist that I wanted to use instead of theirs. Each vendor they recommended was excellent!! It was the perfect venue for our smaller wedding of about 70 guests. The day went smoothly and the lead up to the day wasn’t nearly as stressful as I would’ve thought, especially since we planned a wedding in 3 months!! Kelly and Sarah were so helpful and supportive. 48 Fields venue was all we could have asked for. The spaces are simply beautiful. We wanted rustic, without roughing it - and they delivered that. The getting ready suite in the farmhouse, patio, and barn were all perfect backdrops.
