Our Story Most people know that we have been together for a long time. Well, we met the summer of our Junior year of high school and we officially started dating 12/8/04. Thats about 6 years, and we are loving every minutes we have together. Proposal Story A Couple summers ago we had to my surprise looked around at engagement rings, but I thought there was no way he was going to purpose now, maybe around Christmas time, MAYBE! But on that Friday Chad took me (Tasha) to the Botanical Gardens, which is where I have wanted to get married, we walked around and something seemed a little fishy. I saw this little garden area on the side with a bench and a fountain and told Chad we should sit there. We sat there a while and then I said ok Chad lets go walk around some more. He said hold on sit down, and then he stands up. My heart started racing all of the sudden he says I want to show you something and pulls this gray little ring box out of his pocket, gets down on one knee, and says,"will you marry me? " I was SO SURPRISED! I started crying and almost started hyperventilating, and of course I said YES! I was so shocked that the next half of the gardens we walked through I didn't even remember walking through. I think I said,"O' MY GOSH!" about 100 times that day. After we left the gardens he said he wanted to do whatever I wanted so of course we went and got ice cream, We shared chocolate and cheesecake ice cream from Marble Slab. It was the best day ever!!!!   Our Dates: Date we became bf/gf: 12/8/04 Date we got engaged: 8/21/09 Date we are to be married: 8/20/11 Check this out (the dates are just in reverse): 12/8 & 8/21
