     In September of 2010, we met while working at Hewlett-Packard Enterprise Services, here in Tulsa, OK. It was just a normal day and I was asked to train a couple of new employees. He was one of them. I sat at the corner desk. And when the other guy, John, was being introduced, Anthony walked behind him and then sat with my cube buddy. My first thought was, this man does not like black women. Ha! He didnt even introduce himself to me. So I brushed it off. Then, I noticed how nervous he was but I didnt think too much of it. As we talked, we found out that we had more in common than we thought. He was a new hire at my job and he had left his paperwork on my desk. I couldn’t help but to look down and saw that his birthday is in October. I told him that my birthday is in the same month, 4 days apart. I thought I had met a new friend. We knew some of the same people. He was what I least expected but all I never knew I needed. My guy is such a handsome man. When I met him, he was a cool dude, and now that I look back, I know the Lord will bless you with what you least expect, when you least expect it. The Lord has lined up everything but I didn't know it at the time. As we talked, he seemed to be more engaged in the conversations as the days went by. I found out that we graduated from the same elementary and high school Booker T. Washington H.S. in Tulsa, OK. And then found out we knew some of the same people but never came across each others path. I knew his sister for a long time and she was my play mom in grade school. She knew that it was a connection waiting to be made. When she found out that we were talking, she gave him the thumbs up. His dad knew my dad long time ago. It's funny that we talk about how our paths never crossed and at least we did not know that each of us existed in Tulsa. I wanted to know more about him as we talked – I was becoming anxious. As we got to know each other more, I was beginning to feel more and more nervous by just being around him...but I saw that he was getting nervous around me. That’s when we got the point of “crushing” on each other. But soon, he left the company in November and I was afraid that it was just that we would remain friends and but kept in touch on Facebook. We messaged each other here and there. But one day, I asked him, what is so interesting about me – OUT OF THE BLUE!!! I shocked myself! I was bold! He responded “I think you are a very beautiful woman”. That was it! That was the start of this beautiful journey. I was on cloud nine! We started talking on the phone that Jan. 2011. We became more comfortable with each other on the phone...but in person, it was different, I could tell that we were getting closer. He emailed me one day on Facebook about seeing if I wanted to go to a comedy show with Bill Bellamy at the casino. I was so excited but wanted to keep my cool. I said “sure”. We made it a date and we ended up having a blast! On our first date, we hit it off fast! Later that night, we ate at PF Changs in Utica Square here in Tulsa. I just knew that when I made eye contact with him on our first date, that he was the ONE! A few days later, we experienced a big snow storm and could not see each other for about 4 days. (It was torture!) We talked on the phone around the clock. As the snow melted, I was so determined - I drove over to his house after work in the snow. We made sure that we at least talked or got to see each other. Few weeks later, we enjoyed our first Valentine's Day together at The Melting Pot. He had never been there so it was a big treat! He was so handsome I couldn’t stop staring at him. I could tell that he was looking at me too – non-stop. The evening dinner and we clicked perfectly! We loved being in each others presence, spending as much time as possible together. We ended up getting a surprise of our lives. That April, I found out that I was 7 weeks pregnant. I was scared but he was excited!!! I didn’t know what was going on because at that time, I had never been pregnant before. That June, we ended up losing the baby at 16 weeks and found out we had a girl, Braelynn. We were both devastated. But we knew God was in the works and we know in our hearts that we have a beautiful daughter in heaven waiting on us and watching over us. Then ended up being pregnant again and had a miscarriage. Then 8 months later, we ended up pregnant again and had a miscarriage and it was a boy, Bryson. We lost him in September 2012. Through faith, God had brought us both through a lot of rough times. We both know in our hearts that our children are in the safest, most blessed place in heaven. We know that God knows best and our children are watching over us with my parents and his dad. After so much heartbreak, we both decided to go back to school for our associate degrees. He is pursuing his degree in Engineering and I am pursing a degree in Respiratory Therapy. And we both got the surprise of our lives. We found out in Dec. 2013 we were 4 weeks pregnant!!! Few months later, Anthony decided to surprise me with another life changing moment when I was 27 weeks along. So he came home and was about to leave and said that he needed to go run an errand. Well, I thought that he was acting a bit strange but I went on to sleep. I was laying down after a long day at the doctors office. I heard to door open and it was him coming in the room with a little box. I was wondering what it was and then it dawned on me, it's Mother's Day weekend!! He pulled out the ring and asked me to marry him. I said YES!!!! Few months later, we delivering a 7lb. 4 oz. baby girl name Bailee Rose Fisher July 22nd, 2014!!! So delighted to have her in our lives. In the last 3 1/2 years of our lives, we have experienced so many ups and downs, but it just proves that we are inseparable and love each other so much. We are encouraged spiritually in Lord and we stay faithful to God in everything we do. This love is truly God-meant and Heaven-sent.
