Seven months after starting my new job in Memphis, the engineering group at my facility made a new hire as well. In typical fasion, the managers always walk the new employees around to meet the staff and to familiarize them with the different departments within the facility. So, I was sitting in my office when the R&D manger walked in and introduced me to the "new guy".  At first I didnt think too much of him, other than the fact that he had a pretty cute smile. Fast forward a month or two- it was midweek and as usual I was working late at the job.  The same "new guy" walked into my office to tell me that I had a flat tire :(  He goes on to say that he can change it for me, but in the end it turned out to be just a broken stem. As he aired my tire up to get me far enough down the road to the nearest auto shop, we started a conversation that began it all! Turns out we both went to the same university, just at different times- you see he's 7 years older than me :) Our very first date was to McAlister's for lunch. I remember how nervous he was and immediately could tell that he definitely had a crush on me, just like I had one on him :)  We began dating in September 2009 and he proposed to me on October 15, 2011 while we vacationed in New Orleans! He was just as nervous and cute as he got down on one knee as he was on our very first date! I love him dearly...and can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him by my side :)
