Well we met December 27th, 2007 at his mothers house. He was in town for about a month before he moved to Las Vegas for his new job. That night I was dropping off my sister, Amber and his sister, Kylie and I happened to go inside while they got ready to go bowling. While hanging out with the girls in Kylie's bedroom, a knock came from her door. It was Rob. He wanted to know what the girls were doing that night. We told him going bowling and if he wanted he could tag along. Granted the girls were not a big fan of this (Kylie called him "her creepy older brother") but I was all for it because he was old enough to have a couple drinks with me. At this time I did have a boyfriend, so I never looked at Rob as anything other then a friend. Well we ended up going out and we all had a blast. Rob and I swapped cell numbers and then added each other on myspace (yeah we both were on myspace and not facebook then.) From that night on we hung out just about every day. A week or so later I ended my relationship with my boyfriend at the time since he made it clear to me that he would never love me. He also let me know he never planned on going past boyfriend/girlfriend. He never wants to get married. So as time went on Rob and I became closer and closer. Spending every minute we could together. We knew we wouldn't have much time left to hang out since he was leaving for Las Vegas on January 20th, 2008 for his new job. Soon after he would get to Vegas he would be leaving for Afganistan for four months, so it was going to be a long time till we could see each other again. Well for me within those few shorts weeks that I got to know the man, I was really starting to get feelings for him. I didnt know if he would feel the same. (I thought honestly Id never hear from him again after he left) On January 18th, 2008 he took me out to El Torito for dinner. While having an amazing time with him, he asked me to be his girlfriend. Icouldnt have been happier. (Our sisters werent as happy) On January 20th, I drove him to the airport and said my good byes. Unfortantly he was let go from his job a day or two before he left for Afganistan. Within the end of the day though he had a new job in the works but didnt start for a week or two. So he rented a truck and came to Murrieta to visit me. In the first nine months he came to out to visit me a whole lot. I tried to come out to Vegas as much as possible but my job had different hours where he was always off on the weekend. October 15th, 2008, offically my last day at my job. I was on my way to moving out and coming to live with Rob. Saturday October 18th, 2008, I packed my car up with everything i could fit in it and drove the long four hour drive to Las Vegas. By one in the afternoon, I had arrived at what was now my new apartment with my man. It was a scary but good feeling. I had a month to find a job otherwise I was headed back to Murrieta. Within two weeks I had a job. We stayed in the apartment for a year before we found a nice three bedroom house his buddie was renting out. We moved in October 10th, 2009. We have been living here now for going on three years now. We've always talked about the furture and what we would like. (how many kids, getting married, etc) On May 7th, 2011 Rob made the next biggest step. He asked me to marry him at the Effiel Tower down on the Vegas Strip. He has made me the happiest girl in the world. I can not wait to be Mrs. Jennifer Dodd. On January 18th, 2012 we celerbrated our four year anniversary.
