Jamie and I met in middle school.  We went to the movies with two of our friends to see "Duplicity."  For me, it was love at first sight.  In December of our freshman year, we started talking.  Two months later, Jamie moved to live with his dad in Louisiana.  The next two years we didn't talk.  In May 2012, Jamie messaged me on Facebook saying that he hasn't talked to me in a while and to text him and gave me his number.  Even though I texted him immediately, he didn't text back until after school was out.  All of the feelings that I had for him came rushing back.  We dated on and off for the next 3 months.  Then on September 15, 2012, we went to go see "Resident Evil: Retribution."  Before the movie started, he asked me out and I said yes! Jamie proposed to me on June 29, 2015,  which was 5 days after my 20th birthday.  I had spent the night at his parents house and slept on the couch.  His mom got ready for work and before she walked out the door, she told me I could go sleep in her bed since it was more comfortable than the couch.  I took her up on her offer while Jamie took his little sisters to daycare.  He came back to the house and went back to his room, so I thought that he was gonna go back to bed.  Well, a few minutes later I heard his footsteps getting closer and closer to the bedroom and felt him lay down beside me.  He told me to look at him.  I looked at him then THE RING...and turned over and went back to sleep.  He said "NOPE!  Turn over and look again!"  I turned over and looked at him, looked at the ring, looked at him, looked at the ring.  Five minutes later, LIGHTBULB!  He's asking me to marry him, so I kissed him and that was my YES!
