Michael and I met in one of our geology college courses. My friend-group in that class sorted of sucked him in and we started hanging out all together. After plans with a girl-friend of staying in, having drinks, and watching movies fell through, Michael came over instead. We were up until the wee hours of the morning just talking and laughing. He ended up getting snowed into my apartment for almost 3-days because the roads were so horrible and we kept getting more snow. We had so much in common and shared a lot of interests, that we just kept talking and getting to know each other more and more. We had our first date and it just kind of snowballed from there! I love everything about him (even all the little annoying bits) and we compliment each other really well. He keeps me grounded when I get a little too crazy and I help him loosen up. We definitely were tested when he went overseas for a deployment, but he made it home safe and sound! We have been together for two years and will be together almost three years by the time we say "I do".
