David and I first met on Facebook because of a mutual friend. She had told me previously that he was interested in meeting me, but I said no because I only knew that he was 42, had been divorced twice, and had 3 kids. So he sent me a friend request one day which I accepted. We didn't talk much at first, just a few things here and there. When I lost my job at the time, he let me know that the place he and our mutual were working was hiring. I decided to put in my resume. The day of my interview as I was leaving, I heard someone say my name. I looked over and it was David. It was the first time I had seen him in person. I thought he was handsome, very tall, had beautiful eyes, a cute smile, and looked much younger than his age. Also, he was charming. During the few weeks I was waiting to hear back on the job, David and I began communicating more and more. We had our first date at Chili's restaurant and it was the best first date I had ever had. We went back to his place to watch a movie and we ended up snuggling a little, but he was a total gentleman. I wanted to kiss him though. When he walked me to my car, I went for it! And the rest was history. 2 1/2 years later Nov. 25th 2011 It was another day at work. David had just come to take me to lunch, nothing out of the normal. A couple hours after lunch I was up front working and David came rushing in holding this little puppy saying he had just found it. I said that it was one of our friend's dogs but he insisted that he found it at the gas station. He handed it over to me and I held it up to look for a tag on its collar. There hanging on the collar was a magnificently beautiful diamond ring! I looked down at David on one knee and tears began to fill up in my eyes. My co-workers were clapping and snapping photos and hugging me. It was such an amazing moment I will never forget.
