Micheal and I met through a mutual friend 8 years ago. I had rec'd a phone call earlier in the week from one of my girlfriends inviting me to come bowling with her and a couple of other friends. She mentioned she was going to be bringing a guy from her job to meet everyone. So later that week we were bowling and she walked in late with Micheal (my fiance). Now nobody believes me when I say this but when she introduced him to everyone I was nice and said hello but that was it. All of my other friends mentioned throughout the night how cute he was. One of my girlfriends was all over him but he kindly told her he wasn't interested. I didn't much care at that point because I was so into bowling and having fun I didn't care for a guy at the moment. After bowling we all went out to get dinner at Denny's. We all talked for a couple hours while eating and at one point we overheard a table making a inappropriate comment. Well.... all of my friends were disgusted by what the other table was saying but for some reason I thought it was funny and started laughing. My girlfriends thought I was being inappropriate to laugh at the other table but when I looked up I noticed Micheal was laughing as well a bit louder than me. He eventually had to excuse himself so that he didn't upset anymore of my friends. After dinner we all went home and I never saw Micheal again until 5 months later. I had just graduated highschool and my friend had mentioned that her job was hiring. So of course I went and applied and was hired about two weeks after turning in my appication. Work was great and I got to meet a lot of great co-workers. I was a cashier in the front and my friend worked in receiving. So when trucks pulled up she helped unload and stock supplies. I was working late one night and I was the only cashier when Micheal (my fiance) comes up to my counter and drops off a box of supplies. He smiled for a moment and we talked before he went back to work. Again I didn't think much of him other than he was cute, but I was so focused on doing my job right and not messing up I forgot about Micheal the moment he walked away. ( lol) 9 months after Micheal and I met is when we first started dating. I remember I had come into work one day and my friends schedule was completely changed from mine. We were working different hours. She would be working in the morning while I came in and started my shift in the afternoon and worked into the evening. I remember walking into the breakroom and her and Micheal were sitting at a table together and the moment I walked in she called me over and mentioned how upset she was that they changed her schedule. Micheal seemed pretty bummed as well but she ended up leaving to clock out and Micheal and I both started our shifts. He went outside to the trucks and I went up front to start working the cash register. Around my lunch time Micheal walks up to my register and slams a box down behind me nearly scaring the crap out of me. When I truned around to look at him he smiled and asked if I wanted to go grab lunch together since we have the same lunch break. During lunch we really hit it off and started going to lunch with each other everyday after that. Some people at work would make comments but I didn't care we were friends. Over time I  had started to develop a crush on him but never brought it up because I didn't wanna ruin the friendship that Micheal and I had started to build. Before Micheal and I started hanging out together on our lunch break my friend used to invite everyone over the weekend to all go see a movie. Micheal would usually be invited and he would sit with my friend and I would sit with another girlfriend and we would all watch the movie together. As time went on after Micheal and I started grabbing lunch together...we ended up sitting together at the movies and one day my friend pulled me to the side and asked if I had feelings for him. I mentioned I had a crush but nothing more than that. Well later in the week Micheal had came up to my cash register and said he wasn't able to come to lunch with me that day because he had to leave early but wanted to have my phone number so he can find out what movie we would all be going to later that night. That night when Micheal called me we ended up talking for hours and the movie we were supposed to catch with our friends had already started but neither of us went because we were so into talking to each other. Once we got off the phone I knew 100% that I was into this guy. The next day when I came to work he walked straight up to me and asked if I wanted to see a movie with him tonight since we missed the movie with our friends the night before. We ended watching the movie together only him and I and after that we both went and grabbed something to eat. The next day when I came into work I walked into the breakroom and Micheal was there. We smiled at each other and he walked up to me and asked if I wanted to go to the Puyallup fair with him. I smiled and told him yes...he then pulled me to the side and lowered his voice and asked "do you want to go the fair with our friends or just you and I" I got shy for a moment and it felt like my heart was beating out my chest. I was probably blushing but I told him I prefer to go to the fair with just him. He smiled all big and said he would like that.   Well the rest is history we dated for 8 years and finally we are engaged. I can't not wait to marry this man :)
