<3 High School Sweethearts <3   It was not "first came love, then came marriage...then came the baby in the baby carriage.."  It was first came Mike's crush on me in 10th grade but I was "dating" someone else...Then we began dating our senior year when our mutual guy friend (Who is still his very best friend.. we're 27 now) asked if I would go to homecoming with mike..as a friend so he could have a double date. I circled yes and returned the note..literally. lol So the homecoming dance fell through because we were planning on going to our friend's girlfriend's high school dance but since neither Mike or I went to that school we couldn't go. So Mike said how bout we do something else and we'll meet up with them after..Ok..So this 17 year old kid-Mike- takes me to see one of the best shows in Las Vegas..Cirque du Soleil's Mystere.  Not only that- he set me up so when we got there is guy with crazy makeup on takes me by the hand and says "I thought you'd never show! Please let me escort you to your seats" So I'm thinking he has to have me confused with someone else... As he is walking us all over the theatre.."this is your seat, oh no this is your seat, wait this one over here..."-Kinda Mad Hatter-ish I realize that the huge audience is laughing everything the guys says or does anything funny. For example this escort took a popcorn bucket out of some random audiences hands and gave it to me (I hear laughter)..I felt bad so I ran back and gave the guy his popcorn back...(I hear laughter..) So then our escort takes the bucket of popcorn and pours it over the audience members head! (I hear laughter) I'm so wrapped up into what's going on I didn't notice it at first. Then I look on stage to see whats going on and right in my eye is a SPOT LIGHT! We were the comic relief to begin the show!!! After our bit was over we got to go backstage and meet some performers and see them getting ready for the show. Awesome experience!! Mike was a busser at one of the steakhouses at Treasure Island where the show is performed and had this all arranged. He had liked me for 2 years and finally had a date with me and wanted to impress....I was IMPRESSED! He was not the same guy in my classes anymore. He took me to eat sushi for the first time that night and then we rode the roller coaster at the Sahara Hotel, one of my favorite things to do. Well that was October 20, 2001 and we are finally tieing the knot in my dream wedding...cause that's what we've been waiting for..on October 20, 2011. 10 Years to the day! Oh back to my nursery rhyme...First came love, then came the house, then came the first baby in the baby carriage, then came the 2nd baby in the baby carriage, then came MARRIAGE! Yeah!! Hence the tag "Finally!!" on my save the dates. We have the cutest two little boys Mason is 3 years and Marek is 1 year.
