I'm getting married on Sept. 1st of this year and my fiance and I have been together for about 5 years. We are obsessed with escape rooms and he worked with my favorite business for months to create a puzzle to propose to me while trying to escape. We both enjoy gaming and dark/twisted movies but I'm also kind of a princess. We are going for a dark version of a fairy tale, elegant but not super traditional.

Happily married 🎉

Rehearsal Dinner Etiquette
No in Parties and Events, on March 29, 2018 at 10:56 AM

Hey! So FMIL and FFIL are graciously paying for our rehearsal dinner. It took a lot for us to agree as we don't want anyone feeling like they need to spend money on us. They asked us to find a...

Who should my stepmom walk with?
No in Wedding Ceremony, on March 23, 2018 at 2:11 PM

Hey everyone! I'm really stumped on this one, and thankfully have time to figure it out. I really want all of our parents to walk down the aisle, but I'm not sure how that should be paired. Our...

Ice cream truck?
No in Wedding Reception, on March 9, 2018 at 12:50 PM

Thoughts? There's this super cute vintage truck and they dress in 1950's uniforms. We really wanted fresh scooped ice cream, but they only do local artisan sandwhiches/bars. Would this be too...

Reception China
No in Wedding Reception, on February 26, 2018 at 11:53 AM

So we decided to not rent our chinaware through our caterer (too expensive and they didn't offer the style we were wanting). I found some great thick plastic ones (seriously they look so real) off of...

Rehearsal Dinner
No in Etiquette and Advice, on February 21, 2018 at 11:11 AM

My future MIL/FIL really want to pay for it. We were determined to pay for our entire wedding, but people have been helping here and there against our will (I mean I can't complain, it really is a...

Reception Seating
No in Wedding Reception, on February 19, 2018 at 1:54 PM

I still have plenty of time to figure this out, I was just more curious to see what the respectful way to do this is. We have a decent sized wedding party, and we just can't fit everyone at the head...

First Dance - How does it work?
No in Wedding Reception, on February 9, 2018 at 3:08 PM

Ok, so this may be a really lame question, but I honestly just don't know. Some weddings I've been to don't have a 1st dance, others do and they dance for the entire song. We def. want to do one, I'm...

September brides, where are you at in your wedding planning?
No in Planning, on January 31, 2018 at 10:55 AM

This is really for anyone who can give some advice and guidance I feel so far behind as I haven't done a ton of planning. I have gotten some big items knocked off my list, but now I feel stuck. We...

Invite coworkers or not?
No in Etiquette and Advice, on October 18, 2017 at 2:32 PM

I've read a lot forums about inviting and not inviting co workers. I'm even more confused after reading them. I coordinate for a small sales team and I'm so lost on if I should invite anyone. I am...
