I have so many special women in my life.. 3 sisters, FH's sister, and many friends. I've narrowed it down to 8 bridesmaids. Is this too many?

So my wedding is outside in late May next year. I know it will be super hot, so i want to have it later. But also, i want to have enough time before dark to take as many pictures as possible. Help!
