I met my love in basic training, yes basic training for the Army. The most non-romantic place on earth. We'd actually met during some preliminary training before shipping out but he doesn't remember that. He does remember thinking I was a totaly snob at basic, however (Snob, no. Stickler for the rules, yeah that was me!) We were in the same platoon and when graduation came we went our separete ways. He went to Texas and I went to Missouri for our job schools. We ended up being assigned to the same unit and platoon again after AIT and reunited we were! He asked me out a few weeks later and I declined so we remained friends everyone, I mean EVERYONE (my father included) thought we were dating and just keeping it a secret. But we were just that close of friends. 6 months of talking every day, hanging out almost just as often and dealing with eachothers jacked-up love lives we finally began to date. A year and a half later he proposed, and I couldn't be happier :) Not to be too full of myself, but Lifetime needs to make a movie out of this so I can get some money for this wedding!
