Mrs. Potatohead

Charles and I meet when were only 15 years old through one of his friends. We were friends for several months before we actually dated. However from the moment I laid eyes on him I knew he was the one for me. His cool head and banter was more than any girl could ignore. I knew he was the one for me because his very presence shocked my heart and filled my lungs with air so sweet I drank it in slowly. He always has a way about him that I couldn't help but be in love with. About the time we had started to take each other serious the festival came to town. We spent countless hours all week riding rides, sharing secrets, and facing the world together. One day he waited in the rain for hours before my mother drove me by to see if he was there and my mom was so upset that he was still out there that see rented a movie (Mr. Deeds) and bought some popcorn and we watched movies all day. The Nederland Heritage Festival is where we fell in love. That spring break is burned in my mind more than any other week of my life. We are certainly high school sweethearts but our story is so much more than that. We meet two months before my family had decided to move to Florida (We lived in Texas at the time.) We unanimously got the idea to stay true to the way we felt...head over heels in love. Although most wished us luck and some said it wouldn't work, through thick and thin this man was there for me. For the whole two years I was in Florida we wrote, emailed, called, and visited. We never lost interest, not once. We haven't since, we never will. When I moved back into town we struggled through many things but nothing has been strong enough to even put a doubt in my mind about him. I love him with all my heart and trust him with everything I have. He has never done me wrong and the way I feel when I'm around him is happiness by definition and bliss my means of my heart. We have been together nearly four years...It'll be four in March 2011. I'm still crazy about him and never see the end of the flame that burns in my heart for his love.
