Lee and I meet online on July 16th, 2015. We laugh about it as I was on the last day of my Zoosk membership and connected with him. We clicked immediately through our text messaging back and forth. We decided to meet up and set our first date for July 25th at the local Golden Corral and then we would move onto the local putt-putt. I was so excited and couldn't wait to meet him that as I was moving things around in my car as I was getting ready to head to our first date I managed to slam the car door into my face and split my lip open. I was so nervous to meet Lee at that point because of not looking my best. However, when I go to the restaurant the first thing that I noticed was how caring he is as he immediately started looking at my lip to make sure I didn't need stitches - I started falling for him right then and there. He tells me that he fell in love with me the minute he meet me that day so I take the scar that is left as a reminder of meeting the love of my life. Our first date went from a simple date of dinner and putt-putt to an epic date of nearly 8 hours that neither of us wanted to end. On August 19th he surprised me by coming to my work and asking me to wear his promise ring. I knew at that point that he loved me, however I still wasn't sure of my feelings so I made sure that he knew that even though I was thrilled to wear his promise ring I couldn't promise that I loved him. That didn't last long - by August 27th I knew and told him for the first time that I loved him and haven't stopped telling him since then. On October 25th Lee asked my dad for my hand in marriage via FaceBook Messenger and then turned around and asked me via a phone call as he was so excited to ask me that he couldn't wait to ask. It's been a whirlwind and I cannot believe how fast it has happened, but he is truly the love of my life.
