Megan

 Jay was stationed at McGuire Air Force Base when we first met through a mutual friend. Once we started talking we hit it off immediately. After getting to know each other I learned he was going to be deployed to Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean. We wanted to keep in touch through email. I emailed Jay the day he left because I didn't know the next time I would talk to him. After exchanging emails every other day, talking on the phone (when possible), and mailing care packages out to him. I received an email from Jay the day before his long flight home and my heart dropped. He wrote he needed to 'talk' to me which I immediately thought it wouldn't be good news. I figured being transferred to a different country and I would never see him again. Two days later my phone rang, it was Jay and we made plans to get together the next day. I counted down the hours to when I would see him for the first time in over four months. We picked up right where we left off. As for 'the talk' it was that he never wanted to spend another moment without me. Ten years later here we are getting married on 8/26/2011.
