Our story begins back in Connecticut 1983 when my best friend then was Sherri. I was 13 years old and Gordon was 14 years old. We were always together for the next 2 years. Some called it puppy love. I would ride my bike across town to be with him. He would come to my house to be with me. Sadly though My friend Sherri advised my that I should break up with him. Cause we were going to rival high schools and I would not know if he was with other girls. So I listened to here (big mistake). Then about 2 years later a very sad event happened Gordon's sister Kim was struck by a drunk driver and died. I went to the wake to see if he was ok. I paid my respects. I really just wanted to stay and hold him. Then a few months later he came by my house and took me to McDonalds. We talked , but both of us weren't sure about the other. In October of 2010 I had surgery and was home for a while. I got on Facebook. Gordon came to mind and I looked him up. There he was. Now I was thinking should I message him or friend him??? So I did both. He replied , I was so excited. We chatted and text and skyped. Come January 2011 I went to Texas to meet him. I stayed at his place for the week. We had fun talking all hours of the night about our lives. I fell in love with him. I did not want to go back to Connecticut. I went home but we talked everyday. He kept asking when will I come back to Texas to live with him? I then moved to Texas November 5 2011 to be with him. He was in school to become a pastry chef. I am so happy to becoming his wife May 3 2014. He will be designing our wedding cake and planning our wedding dinner. We are a great match We have fun in the kitchen and we make each other smile.
