Johnny and I met in 2014. I was leaving an abusive marriage after 22 years. I was going through the separation/divorce when I needed help with some car things, and my best girl friend introduced me to her friend. I don't know what it was but meeting Johnny at the time I did changed my life. He helped me out and then I would run into him over time and a friendship started. Johnny was present at some of the worst fights and arguments and he always offered advice and just listened. As life went on, I began to have feelings that I didn't know I had. I felt safe. I had a true friend and I fell in love with my best friend. I am the lucky one.
