My fiancé asked me to be his girlfriend on April 16, 2010 and asked me to be his wife on April 16, 2013. He has been in law school for the past two years and we have had to live over two hours away from each other during that time so we are very excited to get married and begin our lives together! Growing up with divorced parents, I always told myself I would never get married - amazing how one person can change your life plans! We balance each other out perfectly and I cannot imagine my life without him. Where I get neurotic and upset over things he stays calm and reminds me where my mind should be, and where he is passive too easy going about certain things I remind him that he needs to take action and get his butt in gear. We are hoping to have a wedding that is more on the small side (at or around the 100 guest mark) and don't have much money for it (I'm paying for it myself) but we are determined to stay focused on the meaning of the day and make it enjoyable and memorable for ourselves and our guests - they may not always remember what our centerpieces looked like but they will remember the loving spirit that they felt surrounding them during our special day :)
