Julie

Julie says: As I recall, we really met and got to know each other at a New Year's Eve Party that I went to with a mutual friend of ours. We watched Candy Man and I sat by Kevin and cowered. When I went to the bathroom during a particularly scary part, he re ran the movie and made me watch it so I would cower and cuddle up next to him. I don't remember much about hanging out with Kevin before that party but, 5 months after that night, he asked me to be his girlfriend! Kevin says: We met November of 2004 at South Puget Sound Community College. She walked in with our friend Terra and I thought, "That girl is gorgeous!" We hung out at school with a group and I got to know her and really like her. Terra got her to come to a New Years eve party SEVERAL WEEKS after we met and here we are! Regardless of who is right, here we are over 5 years later planning our wedding for our 6 year and 1 day anniversary! The Engagement: Julie waited 5 years, then sat down at the Jewelers and pretty much refused to budge until Kevin signed the paperwork to buy the ring! Kevin proposed in our kitchen while Julie was putting away groceries. It was great!
