Wil and I met on match.com. Neither of us thought we would have found each other any other way. I had just joined and decided to do the free trial for three days. One day I got a wink from him and I thought he was kinda cute so I told him to email me. He did and then we started chatting online. Needless to say we got really tired of typing so he called me. Then I knew he was something special. We would be on the phone for hours. Finally we set a date to meet after his homecoming game on October 26, 2006. We met at FYE in Arundel Mills Mall. Then we went to Remomo for dinner (he didn't eat anything he was so nervous). Then we went to Dave and Busters and DuClaw for drinks afterward. It was a great first date and he was a perfect gentleman! The Proposal We planned to go out with my parents, my brother and his life partner for dinner. Last year I planned a surprise 40th anniversary party for my parents. One of their gifts was a gift certificate to The Inn at Perry Cabin in St. Michaels, Maryland. So my mom decided to invite all of us to dinner to share their gift. This was planned a while in advance. Wil and I are always known for being the late couple. So this time we decided to be on time. However we were running late. As we were walking out of the door , Wil said that he had a really bad pain in his foot. He thought something might be in his shoe (man he is a good actor!). So he called me over. When I came over he grabbed my hand and took the ring out of his jacket (he was already on one knee). Then he asked me if I would marry him. I was so nervous and happy that I could even open the box. I was shaking all the way to the Eastern Shore. Then at dinner we surprised everyone and told them the great news.

Are you supposed to buy for both the bride and grooms parents? What are you or have you already got for them?
All the new wives I thought it might help other brides if we told them: 1. The one thing that made planning the worst and 2. What they can do to not let it happen to them
