Wedding details
Aaron and Jennifer renew thier vows Hi! My name is Jennifer , my husband and I have been married for 10 years. In 2001 Aaron (my husband) and I were planning our Feb. 2002 wedding. We had all of our vendors, deposits made, save the dates sent out, ect... Early one morning on Sept. 11, 2001 things changed the lives of every American, the World Trade Center Towers were hit by the terrorists who took over two planes. At that point Aarons family came to us and asked if we could move up the wedding date. Their thought in it was, If your married, have kids (at that time we had my daughter and our now oldest son),and if your over a certain age you cannot be drafted. They were so worried about the government reinstating the draft. So after lenghly conversations, we agreed. We moved our wedding date to Oct. 2001. One month after that horrific day. Due to the fact that we changed the date we found out that some (and I mean most) of our vendors were not availble for that date. Needless to say we lost alot in security deposits, and scrambling around to find new vendors. I highly recomend that no bride and groom plan a wedding in less than a month. We down graded everything. Insteed of having white roses, we changed our flowers to daisys. Instead of two limos (I should say 1 limo for the wedding party and 1 1940's chauffer driven classic), we opted for just to take a party bus. BTW Aaron was extremly upset about that one. The list goes on and on. In the end our rushed wedding day barely cost us $5000. From that day on I longed for my dream wedding. I've been obsest with all the wedding shows, I would buy the magizines, and yes even 1 time I went and tried on a few wedding gowns. Aaron told me I was nuts, which for most girls that would be an insult but for me thats just how Aaron and I are. We have had a great marriage, yes we have had our ups and downs, but every marriage does. We have our 3 wonderfull kids, live in a great area, 2 dogs, you know the American dream. So one day Aaron and I were taking about how the majority of our famly and friends are married, and that got us thinking. Why not renew our vows! And there you go, Aaron and I are going to get our dream "wedding"! Being that I am a photographer and have worked in banquet centers for years I have seen so many amazing weddings. I seen some weddings that dazzle you from the time you step out of your car, to weddings that you can just tell how much the the bride and groom care about just being married not the way they did it. In each and every wedding that I've been to (weather I worked it or attended it) there has allways been atleast 1 element that I absolutly fell in love with. So needless to say I have ALOT of ideas.
