I have been with my David for 6 years now, been engaged for 5 1/2. I met Dave at a graduation party 6 years ago in June. I almost did not go to teh party since Iwas getting over a bad cough and had NO voice. ( I was no longer sickly and the cough was gone but my voice was gone too..) Anywho.. I was hanging with some friends and watching my Abby who was 18 months at the time play. I 1st saw Dave come up to the party and I thought, wow,he is handsome! :) Then I saw a girl catch up to him and they were talkingand stuff.. I just thought oh  that must be his girlfriend so I did not attempt to talk to him or anything..  Later I was talking to the ( girlfriend) and she was telling about this guy she wanted to date and showed me a picture. I was confused on why she was openly talking about wanting to date another guy when she was here with her boyfriend..  I got up the nerve to ask her and she looked at me and laughed. Turns out she was not his girlfriend but his sister.. I was a bit embarassed. SO I definatly was not going to talk to him but then he came and started asking about my dughter and then we took off from there..  It was like we could not stop talking.. HE still talked to me after I scared the heck out of him when he let me dive his car, He thought it was great that he did not scare me when I found a skull of a cow with deer antlers attached in his backseat.. At the end of the night, we exchanged numbers and went home.. I knew on my wayhome, I was going to marry that guy and live happily ever after..    He called me two days later and asked if I wanted to go to a festival with him but sadly I had to work. ( YES I used to work before I met Dave but the I became a stay at home mommy.)  We planned to go to an ammusment park but we met up once and walked around a park with Abby. We went on our 1st   Official Date at the  amusement park with my mother and my Daughter.. That night we had a huge fight and I though he was gone forever.. I went to a horse farm the next day and I was so upset, the horses did not brighten my day.  ( I am a huge horse fan, I love them and they usually brighten my day and I never feels stressed whn I am near them) anwho, He finallycalled me and turned out ther was misscomunication and things were good!!After that, we have fought but never to that extreme ad have been happy.  Dave proposed to me on Christmas. It was so funny too.. I opened my 1st gift and it was a game of Horsopoly. We all took turns opeing gifts. My Abby was happy  in geting so many. His family had taken to her very well and she fell in love with them as well. I eventually got a a gift  and when I opened it, It was a cleveland indian box with tehgame board and all the pieces to  the game of horseopoly was in it.. I was kinda confused cause my 1st gift was the  Horseopoly box. So I went back to the actual hrseopolu box and ripped open the plastic and looke inside to find a ring box... Inside was my engagement ring, I looked at Dave and he bent down and asked me the big question.. I obviously said yes and practicly umped on him hugging him.. It was very unique in how he asked..  So from that christmas,we have ben engaged. We attempted a few weddings but our 1st daughter was born early and was super tiny and sickly. the next year we thoguht to do it, I found out I was pregnant and would have been huge.. the next yer we found out we ere moving casue Dave got into Grad school to get his PH.D ( that is Right, I am marrying a DR.)  but also that year was a sad year cause our two year old, the one that was born early and waas sickly, passed away. :( 3 years later and we finally set a date and have only a little bit of time to get everything set up and ready for our big day.. I can't wait to be married to him. IT has been a long time comingand I feel that it is tim that I will be Mrs. Frank!!
