Jennie’s Take: We met in high school but my love for Kenny blossomed in the summer of 2003. That summer I learned how much we have in common... we both loved taking mid-day cat naps and eating fast food in bed. I didn’t think the relationship would last when I went back to school for another year, but we communicated through IM and long phone calls into the wee hours of the night. I remember the first instance when our relationship solidified. It was during the winter of 2003 in a blizzard-like storm. We skidded on an icy patch and lost control of the car during one of Kenny’s frequent visits to Binghamton. I remember seeing a truck coming straight at us and thought it was the end. Luckily, we both made it through without a scratch but the car was totaled. Kenny’s concern for me made me feel protected and loved. We started to appreciate each other and life a little more after that incident. Since then our relationship has been through its ups and downs but I know I can always count on Kenny to be there when I need him most. His constant love and support makes a stormy day seem brighter. I know we’ll have many happy years together... Kenny’s Take: Even though Jennie used to live down the street from my house and we took the same route to high school every morning, we had never spoken to each other until I met her through a friend on a Six Flags Great Adventure trip at the end of our high school year. On July 4th, 2000, we went to see fireworks under the Brooklyn Bridge and ever since that day I fell in love with her. We have spent the last six July 4th’s together for the fireworks and it has been magical. During my stay in Oklahoma City, I realized how much Jennie and my family means to me. She has made me feel that I can take on any task because I know I can depend on her and have her constant love and support. I can’t wait to start our own family together wherever we end up living, as long as we have each other...
Jennie has not added anyone as a friend yet.
