  Our story began as a friendship over 3-eyed fish! (see link for details on Triops; awesome, ugly prehistoric fish).  http://www.thinkgeek.com/product/75ab/?srp=1  Our boss got them as a holiday grab bag gift (from Joe) and his family didn't want them in the house- so we adopted them at work!  Through the years we learned how much we had in common and how easy it was to be friends.   The very, very short story:  Friendship turned to dating, dating turned into falling completely and ridiculously in love.  We are all a little weird and life's a little weird, and as Robert Fulghum is credited with saying:  "When we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall into mutually satisfying weirdness -- and call it love -- true love."  This is really why we are the perfect couple! July 15, 2011 we got engaged and here we are- planning for a party to celebrate our soon-to-be marriage!   A few facts about us: We both got our Open Water Scuba certifications a couple years ago with these cool guys:  http://www.longislandscuba.com/   We have only dove in New York so far and will someday head to Florida or the carribbean for some easy and high visibility diving.  NY diving is challenging but so much fun!  The underwater life in Reynolds channel (Rockaway) is more amazing than we ever thought it could be!  For example: last year we had the incredible opportunity to see a pregnant seahorse!  We plan to get our advanced certification and head for some boat and wreck dives.
