Wedding details
I've always believed in fairytales... Matt and I first met when his family moved from the northern part of the state to Port Royal. His dad became the pastor at the church I attended since I was born. He is 6 years older, so at the time he was in high school and I was an 11 year old who noticed him immediately and (as all middle-schoolers know) KNEW I was in love! Well, life moved on and as I grew up forgot about him for awhile because I rarely saw him in church. Fast forward to my senior year in high school. It was Christmas-time and a group from my church was going caroling. Lo and behold, who should arrive, but Matthew. I had invited my best friend along, so I pointed him out and told her about how I had the biggest crush on him when I was younger. (Little did I know, he noticed me, as well, but kept his distance...apparently I wasn't that nerdy 11-year old girl anymore!) No, we still didn't talk to each other. Fast forward again to May. It was the Mother-Daughter Banquet (at church!) and the men were cooking. Of course, he was there. At the end, we exchanged pleasantries, but nothing came of it. It didn't bother me at the time, though, because I had a boyfriend and he had just gotten out of a bad relationship a few months prior. That night I befriended him on Facebook and I sent him a message. The next night, I realized he sent me one back and so we began talking back and forth. He then invited me to come to church Wednesday night to hang out with some of the kids from Port Royal. I decided I would go, but when I walked in he was nowhere to be found. I sat down and not two minutes later he walked in. We began to play cards with a few people and by the end of the night, ended up sitting in the same chair. He asked me if I wanted to go grab something to eat afterward and I accepted. It also happened to be the night of graduation at JHS so the place was packed. We stayed for 2 1/2 hours just talking and only left when the waitress came to the table, asking us if we could pay our bill because the restaurant closed half an hour previously and the cashier wanted to go home. We didn't even realize everyone had left! We then said goodnight and went our seperate ways. A week later, we went to Relay for Life. I got his number and we spent the entire weekend together. Two weeks later, we went to Creation. It was there that he told me he liked me (even though I already knew). I didn't know what to do because I was still with my boyfriend at the time. The week ended, we hugged good-bye. I realized that I never wanted to say good-bye like that again, not knowing when I would see him again. I broke it off with my boyfriend and he agreed that it wasn't working. I told Matt and a week later he asked me out! It was a long complicated string of events, but in the end, it worked out perfectly!

I'm sure some of you ladies already know each others dresses, but I'm new and would love to see them. Funny, I wanted something with straps, no train, and lace. 1 out of 3 isn't so bad I love it! Any dress twins out there?
