Our story could go on for days, but I will sum it up to save some time. When I was 18 years old I got engaged and knew it wasn't right. 3 and a half months later a guy asked my friend who is your friend she is cute. My friend said she has a fiance get over it. His response ( NOW I KNOW IN TRUE JAMIE FASHION) she only has a fiance because she has never met me. A few nights later this guy shows up at her house one night to meet me and I am freaking out. He is nice and dang he's hot for an older guy. (I was 18 and he was 24) A few days later I heard he was at the mall and had to steal one more look. I not so stalkingly went to the mall to look at this guy one more time and knew what I had to do. The next morning I called my fiance and called it off. I was done I knew he wasn't right for me, and finally had the courage to call it quits. At this point I didn't even know if this guy liked me, but I would soon find out. I went up north with some girls that weekend and little did I know that Sunday would be the beginning of the rest of my life. We got home on Sunday and I was feeling down. My best friend at the time called him and said Jamie she needs someone to talk to. This guy who barely knew me rushed right over and held me as I cried and watched The Notebook (we still watch this all the time, and can't wait to get The Notebook inspired engagement photos done). I laid there wondering if this was what true love felt like could I finally be feeling something real. This silly boy looked at me said hey would you mind if I touched your boobs. (Might seem crazy to most, but that is the moment that boy stole my heart) We talked non stop for a week and every night it was the same thing: you hungry? Yep. Me too. Let's meet for dinner. We spent two nights away from each other the first month and then it was decided we were going to move in together. Might seem rushed but we knew it was okay. That was exactly 6 years ago as I sit writing this. We have had our ups and downs, but I have ALWAYS known at the end of the day that this man who picked up a total stranger while she was down and has spent 6 years loving me, making me laugh, putting up with my craziness, and never letting us go to bed angry is the man I want to spend the rest of my life with.
