The mike/tinea story crazy things happen in the craziest places. and the most unlike situations happen there as well. i met my fiancee in high school, so you can call us high school sweethearts. i was a sophomore and my fiancee was a junior. during the time, i was friends with a guy named thomas who was cool in essence, but nothing big in my eyes. During the spring semester of '01, we had a series of bomb threats in our school. something that should have been taken quite seriously, but they happened literally everyday, at every period that it became a free period fro about 15-20 minutes of class. during that time, i would read and wait for the bell to sound for us to go back to class. One day, Thomas introduced me to Mike, my future fiancee. at the time, i didn't think anything of him, because i was not interested in meeting anyone at all. and neither was he, i gathered at the time. after the first meeting, the bomb threats happened so frequent, that we would meet up and talk more and more. toward the end of the semester, we were pretty good friends at that point. so we decided to keep in contact throughout the summer. fast foward a year, bombs threat keep happening, and mike and I would meet up and talk, getting more and more friendly and closer. soon, mike's friend's started calling me the bomb-threat girl, because it was hard to prenounce my name. so, around the time of mike's senior prom, which he was very uninterested in going to, he finally asked me out on a date. of course, i said yes. so we went to a diner and back to his house for a movie and video games, because we're big dorks. that night, it began to rain. i commented and said "man, all those girls and their cute dresses are getting ruined!" and he responded "yeah. good thing i decided to stay here with you." sometime during that night, we had our first kiss. safe to say, we were inseparable ever since. it's been almost nine years and we are finally taking the plunge.
