Wedding details
Once upon a time... Two people met through "mutual friends", fell in love, and decided to spend the rest of their lives together. Their story is somewhat of a timeless romance. Cheng believed in the practical; Esther believed in the ideal. When they met, Esther was working as a teacher at a performing arts high school, where she taught history to like-minded students who readily defined themselves as the "crazy-creative" types. Cheng, on the other hand, was working as a periodontist, dealing mainly with patients whose main vices involved not flossing enough. Their love came from the unlikeliest of places, since Cheng had never cared too much for the "crazy-creative" types, while Esther had always hated the dentist. Nonetheless, he quickly fell in love with her and all her crazy antics, while she was easily swept away by his patient steadfastness and strong reserve. Cheng, being more of the careful, conservative type, somehow managed to perfectly balance Esther's whimsical, carefree nature. Then, one day, Cheng realized he had come across a great deal he could just not pass up. It happened outside a Kay Jewelers, where Cheng had just been offered a great deal on a ring he could just not pass up. So, he decided to ask Esther, "Should we get it?" as she responded ecstatically, "Really?!" To Cheng, the proposal seemed ideally practical, while to Esther, the ring seemed practically ideal. Thus, for both, the moment was non-conventional and perfect. And so, they were set to travel down a path traversed by so many couples before them, where anxious men would have their lives flash repeatedly before their eyes, as women prepared to embrace their inner-Bridezillas. It did not take long for them to see themselves growing old together. Together, they planned to have a non-conventional and perfect wedding, followed by a non-conventional and perfect marriage. And so, they would live happily ever after.

So I’m having a bit of a dorky problem… I made this petal curtain as the backdrop for the ceremony, and I was wondering if I should add some crystals to the bottom of it to help weigh it down a bit. On the one hand, it would be a lot of work, and a...

Here is a pic of a relatively quick & easy DIY project I did today. I got the apothecary jars, tongs, and scoops from the Los Angeles flower market. I wrapped the tongs and candy scoops with matching ribbon, and I made the sign from some circles I...
