My future husband and I met at a tiny junior college in Jacksonville, Texas. I knew he was the one almost immediately, but he took some convinceing. After the summer, we attempted the long distance relationship, and failed. He was busy with his friends, and I was busy with school. But when spring came around again, he came crawling back. At first I was nervous about taking him back, but he was persistant. We have been together ever since. He proposed a week before my graduation from college. He had gotten the ring a couple weeks before, and couldn't wait any more. He woke me up one morning, and proposed. Looking back he admits it wasn't the most romantic, but it was the only way he could think of to suprise me.
