Scott and I met at church in the summer of 2003. Our family tells us we met a lot sooner but we were so little we both do not remember. We were really good friends and I swear that boy asked me out once a week in high school but becuase of our age difference (3 years) I always said no. After high school I went away and he joined the Army but always kept in contact, ALWAYS. He was my go to guy for whenever something was wrong. I was always with the wrong guy, nobody was every right. Scott was always on my mind and he was always "the one that got away". Anyway one fateful day in 2012 we met up and hung out again every day after that. My roommate left and I needed someone to move in so Scott once again came to my rescue lol. He helped me with my 4 yr old and his potty training issues and in April of 2012 I found out I was pregnant. Like always he stuck by my side and went above and beyond in my opinion. December 8 2012 we welcomed our daughter and on Christmas Day 2012 Scott asked me to marry him. He even asked for my parents permission which meant the world to me! He wanted to make sure dad knew he was doing it becuase he loved me and my son and not becuase we had a baby. So here we are after 10 years of friendship about to be husband and wife. I can honestly say had someone told me 10 years ago that the goofy kid I met at a church lock in would one day be my husband I would've thought they were crazy.
