An evening out for a friend's birthday at a pool hall brought Ashley & Ryan together. Ryan pretended to be curious about the iPhone Ashley had (surprisingly it was fairly new at the time), harmless flirting and playful banter led to the challenge of a game against one another. Not only did Ashley beat him, but he tried to cheat by shooting balls at her off the table :P. A few weeks passed and nothing, he must have been scared off by Ashley's awesome billiards skillz. She then went to go see a show where his band played. After swooning her with his mean guitar riffs wicked stage moves Ryan finally got the courage to ask Ashley out for a drink. Digits were shared and they spoke almost every night leading up to the night out, it was really something special. The first date and he was such a gentleman, so shy and quiet but so easy to talk to at the same time. They just clicked and the rest was history. On a weekend trip to NYC perusing the characteristic Chelsea Market in New York, where by the way there are the most amazing tacos ;) They decided to take a stroll on the High-Line through the pouring rain. A brief stop to enjoy the view and Ashley thought Ryan was playing in the puddles down on one knee, little did she know he had a question. It was very romantic and special, an evening we will never forget! After 5 years, two homes purchased together, a dog and two cats every day is looking forward to the next. Here's to forever
