Ok I have single sided non folding invitations. When placing them into the envelope does the design go to the back flap or to the front where the addressee is? I am so confused.

When you type up your invitations is it ok to use numbers in place of writing them out? Instead of August twenty-fourth two thousand and thirteen is August 24, 2013 proper? My invitations look...
