Wedding details
We First Met: Jake and I first met when I was fourteen just starting high school. He was a part of my first friend group. Of all of them he was the most handsome and the most ornery! Although he gave me a hard time at first he grew to be one of my best friends. Jake took care of me through all of the good and bad parts of high school and life. He helped me through some especially hard life changing hard ships as well. Without him I might have turned out different. The day he graduated, 3 years later, I literally cried the whole day scared that he would graduate and go to college somewhere where I'd lose him and for a little bit I did. Falling In Love: The next year we got back in touch. When I found him he was attending college in Pueblo. We started calling each other and one beautiful wintery day in December he came back to town and we went on our first date. After running around all day we got back to the house and shared our first kiss on my dad's couch and I knew from that moment that I loved him. The first year was especially tough since we didn't get very much quality time on account of him living so far away. We had our up and downs but the next year he moved home! Figuring it all out: After he moved home we got to see each other all of the time. We arranged things so we went to the same school, had the same schedule, and my parents were kind enough to let him live with me a couple days a week. This year had its own hardships as well. We had spent so much time apart we hadn't learned how to spend so much time together. We had some fights but once we got used to living with each other we knew we never wanted to be without each other. Every night we had to be alone was terrible and left us longing for the next time we could be in each other's arms. Things Are Getting Serious: For Jake's 21st birthday we went on mini romantic vacation. There he received a call from his mother. She said their farm hand Jill was moving out of the loft on their farm and that we were welcome to move in there. Up until now I knew that Jake was someone I couldn't live without but I hadn't really seriously thought of a life together and it was scary now that it was happening. That plan fell through but by then Jake and I were so excited by the thought of having our own little place that we went apartment hunting and found the perfect place. It was so fun to start making grown up decisions. We put our name on a lease, signed up for our first cable/internet bill, and started deciding how to decorate our house. We were on the same page the whole time. By this point in our relationship we had worked out all of the bumps and were in perfect sync at all times. Our first night in our new house was just like we'd been living there our whole lives. The only problem we had was getting our cats to get along :) silly kitties. Today: Six months later Jake took my to Bittersweet park. I go here when I'm happy, when I'm sad, to celebrate things, and most importantly we came here on our first date. Little did I know 3 years later Jake would pick this to be the perfect spot to propose me. I love Jake more and more each day and I couldn't imagine a life without him. Any time he is gone I just sit around and miss him until he comes back. His proposal was beautiful and I of course said yes. All of our dreams are coming true and we couldn't be any happier. The Future: We often talk about the future and the first part, us getting married, is coming true. We look forward to graduating college soon and getting grown up jobs. After we've saved enough money, we look forward to buying our first house and spending many happy years making it our own. The future is filled with us making a life time of memories and decisions hand in hand without a single dull moment. Our wedding is the first step to a lifetime of love and happiness and I can't wait to get started.

So I have almost everything planned out for my wedding except beverages. I don't want to do an open bar and I have about 200 guests. I think it would be cheesy to have cooler filled with sodas and...
I thought I had found the perfect dress. Then I was online looking up the difference between grape and lapis for my bridesmaids when I came across this dress. It's so perfect but it didn't have a...
