tl;dr we're obsessed with the Oberports and want them to photograph every event ever from now on! My wife and I had two priorities in looking for photographers: we wanted pictures that felt like us, capturing all the color and energy of our wedding, and we wanted photographers that would fit in seamlessly with our people and be easy and fun to spend the day with. The Oberports were truly perfect. Emily and Bobby are absolute artists -- throughout our engagement shoot and wedding day, we loved watching them play off each other, looking for new angles and effects and taking inspiration from our environment. Their love for what they do and their genuine interest in the couples they work with is so evident in every picture they take. On our wedding day, Emily and Bobby were absolute lifesavers. They had generously helped us to create our wedding day timeline and on the day, they kept us totally on track. We were able to enjoy ourselves and experience the wedding we'd planned while still having plenty of time for portraits, and they captured so many magical candid moments. They made us and all of our guests feel relaxed and comfortable, and they brought professionalism and a sense of humor in equal measure. They're also just super cool people; we never wanted them to leave! Our full photo gallery is absolutely f**king breathtaking. We literally get complements on our photographers more than on the wedding itself (and we wouldn't have it any other way)! They captured our energy and the energy of our guests so thoroughly; every picture feels alive and full of joy and motion. I don't know how they do what they do but they are the absolute best and we truly can not imagine our wedding without them. 10000/10 recommend.

We're still waiting on our full set of wedding photos, but Lauren sent us preview photos 2 days after our wedding and they absolutely wowed us. We worked with her on our engagement photos at Dolly Sods as well, and were very impressed and pleased with her. She is extremely personable and knows just what to say to her subjects to get a laugh or a smile or a candid look. She was all over everywhere on our wedding day, but so unobtrusive that I feel like I barely saw her. We had an outdoor ceremony in 20-degree weather, and I still don't know how she kept her fingers warm, but she never stopped or complained but was such a consummate professional. She even chased down a horse-drawn sleigh to get the absolutely perfect "first look" photos for us. As an amateur photographer myself, I know how difficult it is to work with white-on-white (i.e. all the snow we had for our outdoor sessions), but it didn't phase Lauren in the slightest and she used it to complete advantage. Cannot recommend her enough!!

We had such a great experience working with Emily and Brandon for our engagement and wedding photos. They have captured so many important life events for myself and my family, and the results are priceless each time. They are so incredibly easy to work with and have such an eye for the perfect photo. We are always so happy with the pictures. I could not imagine any one else to do our photos and could not recommend them enough!

Wonderful! Cathleen and Jeremy are both so talented and creative. We really appreciated how easy they were to work with - they were so kind and patient throughout the entire wedding process. We can't say enough good things about them and we absolutely love our wedding photos!

Michelle is the funniest, most genuine, thoughtful, person in the world. She makes every moment magical and sweet, making you laugh by telling you dad jokes, making you feel extremely comfortable in front of the camera. I cannot recommend her enough. The quality of her photos are unlike anything I’ve ever seen
