Was an awesome choice! Oir reception was everything we could have ever dreamed it could be! Best day ever by far. The staff is amazing and will do whatever you ask of them. Anf the food is outstanding!!

We had an amazing experience planning our wedding at the Press Room. The venue itself is stunning with all of the twinkling lights and big windows, but the staff at Spaces in the City went above and beyond to help us plan and execute a perfect wedding day. Every single person we spoke to throughout the process was responsive, transparent, and proactive, which was incredibly helpful as we navigated the planning process from out of state. This is truly a full-service wedding venue with catering (and several other things) provided in-house and tons of excellent vendor partners, which helped immensely with our vendor selection. The standard for quality here is unbelievably high, so everything that was provided by the Press Room or recommended by the Press Room was of the best possible quality, as well as flawlessly executed. The small details at this venue are what really puts it a step above. The bridal suite is spacious with 5 hair and makeup stations plus a comfy seating area, tons of natural light, and hanging racks for dresses. We ordered breakfast through the Press Room, which was ready when we arrived and kept hot throughout the morning. Every staff member we interacted with on the wedding day was ready to step in to assist with any possible need, including random things like re-bustling my dress or making sure someone brought us appetizers after we finished our photos. We had about 135 guests, which is much smaller than the capacity of the Press Room, but they helped us plan a layout that used the space well so that it didn't feel like the room was overwhelmingly large. I could list many other things that I loved about working with the Press Room, but overall I will just say that I was extremely impressed by the quality, the value, and the truly full-service nature of the Press Room/Spaces in the City. I could not recommend it enough for any type of event!

I cannot recommend Sunsphere Events enough! I got married here in June 2020 (yes, a challenging time for a wedding). Donna and the staff were so helpful and accommodating, both leading up to the big day and during the wedding. Such an iconic place to get married, it was truly beautiful! Highly, highly, highly recommend!!

For only $700* total, my husband and I were able to have our ceremony in the University's chapel, and our reception at the President's house (aka the White House or refractory) on campus. Each venue is $350* individually. The venue is beautiful -- especially the White House. The French Broad River runs in back, there's an incredible view, and the entire place has an intimate feel to it. NOTE: This venue is not ideal for very large weddings. *I can't say for sure if the price we got was so low because we are students, or if that is what they charge everyone.
