Rev. Marj was truly the most incredible and perfect ceremony officiant, better than we could have dreamed of. My now husband and I were looking for someone who could bring in faithful elements to our ceremony while still making it modern and tailored to us as a couple. And that's exactly what we got with Rev. Marj. From the moment we met her, we knew she was perfect for the job. We clicked immediately - she was funny, heartfelt, personable, and extremely knowledgable. I can't tell you how many people at our wedding came up to us and said it was one of the best and most authentic wedding ceremonies they'd ever seen! Marj took everything we told her and crafted a ceremony that represented our love and life perfectly. We can't imagine what our special day would have been like without her! I can't recommend her enough!!

My partner and I had a fairly non-traditional wedding. Cathleen was such a wonderful part of our day, and understood what we were looking for right away. I reached out through WeddingWire and when she left me a voicemail in response I cried because I immediately got such a great feeling from her! We really loved what she put together for us. It felt like us. We didn't exchange rings, we just kept our engagement rings, and she used a ring blessing for us. She added a beautiful section for my partner's young kids, who were our makeshift wedding party. She walked into the venue as I was still in my pajamas, cutting flowers for table arrangements minutes 45 minutes before the ceremony and stepped in to help so I could get dressed and get ready. I was so very grateful for that help (and the arrangements were gorgeous by the way-- better than I could have ever done)! Thank you for everything Cathleen, we will never forget it!

We are beyond grateful that we found Rabbi Rochelle. Working with her from a far and in a town we were unfamiliar with the community, she immediately made us feel so welcomed and prepared. Each step along the way she made it smooth AND fun. The ceremony was nothing but beautiful and to this day, we still have guests raving about how great our Rabbi was. We couldn’t be happier :)

I’ll always remember that she was able reassure me when we were panicking at the last minute because we needed someone to perform the ceremony and the actual marriage part of our day was kind of an after thought. We didn't want a long ceremony, nothing religious, nothing extravagant with the spotlight on too long. We'd been together for a long time before we decided to make it legal. We basically wanted to sign a piece of paper and throw a big party at the homestead. She took our day on without hesitation, and followed through on writing our ceremony script in the most professional, but personalized way we could have asked for. Michelle officiated our ceremony at the Eastman Museum this past June. She was flexible with meeting times, never rushed, and gave us several different prompts to choose from so we could then customize the direction we wanted to take our ceremony. She is familiar with several different ceremony traditions, and offered suggestions of ways we could do our hand tying ceremony. She also helped coordinate a photo of all of our guests at the end of the ceremony. Michelle knew how to run our ceremony, without being over-bearing. She has a calm, quiet demeanor. I appreciated that she recognized when opportune photo moments were happening and stepped off to the side, so she isn't right in the center of all our ceremony photos :)
