The food was delicious and the venue is beautiful. Very accommodating.

Katie and the Southern Trace staff did an outstanding job with our party. It really couldn't have been better! I would absolutely plan another party with ST! I plan on thanking you in person.... I've just been out of town :0)

The Pionner Heritage Center is a hidden jewel in Shreveport. For brides who want a rustic yet elegant place this is great and Marty the director was so helpful and flexible.

We thoroughly enjoyed having our Louisiana Wedding weekend kickoff with our Rehearsal Dinner at ArtSpace. It was a fantastic space to show our friends and loved ones the culture of Louisiana and a prized piece of our Shreveport downtown. The cocktail hour was great, and our guests were well refreshed. It was great to move the festivities upstairs for dinner, and we enjoyed the tasty Louisiana cuisine catered by the in-house catering company, Southern Fork. Cheers to a great rehearsal dinner!

My best friend was married in this location 2 years ago and I feel in love with the environment. If you're looking for a rustic location then this place is a great place to look into. Mr. Bill Kelly is the manager and is great to work with. My friend was married on the flagstone patio and it was beautiful in the Summer. Since mine was a Fall event, I didn't want to chance the weather and decided to have it in the Country Store. When everything was set up the day of it was absolutely gorgeous. The Country Store still has the shelves, old fridge in the back corner, beautiful counter top, an old scale, and gorgeous grand entry doors. Best of all, everything is CLEAN! He takes great care of all (3) facilities, which also includes a gorgeous reception area and shotgun house he uses for his office. The grounds are fabulous. Mr. Kelly also is a fantastic chef! My guests could not stop talking about how awesome the food was. I appreciated his help so much!

Beautiful place to hold your ceremony and reception!

Very beautiful and reliable to any event I renewed my wedding vows and the decorations were beyond expected the service was amazing and fast just everything was absolutely wonderful

It was definitely a great experience the prices for food was just a little higher than what we wanted to spend!

I can't say enough positive about this venue. 5 stars is not even enough to describe it!!! From the day we toured and met the owner until the last box was packed after the reception- which they did all of like magical fairies, we were treated like the only wedding happening in the world! I am writing this 3 weeks after the wedding and want to go back just so I can visit Mrs. Cherrie. She and Mr. Scott make you feel like you are family. You truly feel they are there for the love of making people happy and not a bottom dollar. Their expertise is amazing. They gave us the best advise, and she is like mom-always right! She answers you so amazingly fast anytime you reach out to her. They guided us, calmed us, and led us through every step. You get so much more than a venue with this place. We have had so many compliments on how great the wedding was. If you are looking for a wedding venue, this is your place. They do so much more than just provide a space. They are absolutely amazing. I may have to wedding crash just to stay in touch and get to be around magical weddings all the time, but her staff is on top of it, so I would end up being caught. Thanks again for making my daughters dreams, and mine a reality. It was truly in her words the "Best Day Ever" and we have yall to thank!
