Wedding Videography in Iowa

Doug perfectly captured our engagement session and wedding day! He was years of experience and offered amazing, affordable, and all inclusive packages! He does not skimp on time, ideas, and images! We love his rich, saturated photograph style and we will be going back to him for family photos in the future!

We used 29films for our July 2025 wedding, and we could not be happier with our experience! From the moment we reached out, Ashley was professional, responsive, and so easy to work with. On the day of, her and her team blended in seamlessly, capturing all the little moments we didn’t even realize were happening. She was so enjoyable to have around for a wedding day, and she worked incredibly with our other vendors as well. We just have our short clip video back so far, and are absolutely in love with it! We are so excited to see what she pulls together for our full video. I know that she is going to represent our whole day so beautifully. We are so grateful to have worked with 29films, and would highly recommend them to others looking for videography services!!

When I came across Cicada’s work the first time, I just knew they had to be my photographers and videographers! From the very first phone call Cat and Evan were the nicest, most accommodating people! They wanted to make sure we would get exactly what we dreamed of — spoiler alert we got that and more! We didn’t even notice the team 90% of the time, they were so respectful of everyone’s space and our Bosnian traditions while getting SO many amazing shots. The photos are so clear, polished, and we feel like we’re reliving the moments every time we look at them! We had a large wedding party & guest list and they didn’t miss a beat! Besides our photos, the videography - wow! Watching our video feels like I’m sitting there live in the moment! The Drone footage - double wow! Such amazing work all around. We cannot thank the Cicada team enough for ensuring we got the memories we wanted (and the memories we didn’t know we needed). Cat is super prompt with responses and the whole team will do anything possible to get the best shot. Our photos are exactly what we wanted - candid and in the moment. Even our portraits (that tend to be a bit more posed) had so many cute candid, behind the scenes photos too! Their team were hyping us up the whole time and were willing to take any photo we asked for. If I could do it all over again I would 150% book Cicada again!

We worked with Richard for our wedding in August of 2022 and could not have been happier with the results. Richard was super easy to work and coordinate with, and he delivered our video promptly post-wedding. The actual wedding video was high quality and we loved having drone footage of our very scenic wedding venue--Richard really made us feel like movie stars. Richard captured every special moment of our day, and we would recommend him to any other couple.

We hired Alex as our videographer for our rural Iowa September 2025 wedding. We could not recommend him enough! Our videographer exceeded every expectation. He blended seamlessly into the day while still capturing the most meaningful moments—the laughter, the tears, and all the in-between. The final video is stunning and tells our story perfectly. If you’re on the fence about hiring a videographer, do it—and hire Alex! We will cherish this forever and cannot wait to share it with our future family one day!

Rick was so so amazing, professional, and fun!! He was very personable and even helped my new husband in a tie emergency lol I cannot wait to see the footage from our day!! Our expectations were completely exceeded with our wedding videos from The Vine! Our highlight video captured our day so perfectly and beautifully. Our full hour film was even better! It captured our ceremony, speeches, and everything in between with a cinema-like-feel. My husband and I felt all the emotions being able to relive our day.
