It was such a pleasure to work with Dimitra and Dionisis. It goes without saying their work is both surreal and beautiful, but what will stay with us the most is how wonderful they were to work with. They understood us as our own individual people and were able to produce a video that was unique to us. We gave them all the creative freedom and I am glad we did. They were the singular vendor that we were most excited about. If you want your wedding to feel like a literal art movie, these are artists to go for. We could not be more grateful for this absolute jaw-dropping memory they created for our most special day!

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Dean Lalos as our wedding videographer, and we couldn't be happier with the experience and the final result. When i was searching for a videographer for my wedding day,i watched a wedding video by George Kasionis and i was impressed! In comparison with what i have seen, his work had completely different and pleasant essence! And this was the result of my wedding video at the end!! This team is the best in the business. Kostas and team captured my wedding in Sorrento beautifully, despite not having too much time in the city due to jam packed post-COVID wedding schedules. My photos and videos were better than I could have ever imagined. The team is kind, thoughtful, and effortlessly makes each couple feel special. By the end of our wedding we left feeling like we didn’t just hire a vendor, but we made a friend. I’d highly recommend this team for any photography or videography needs without a question. To anyone out there with a short attention span or simply too busy to read the full LP, the following executive summary is for you: Soft Focus did an amazing job on our wedding film. They not only matched our - sky-high - expectations but delivered much more than what was agreed. They are a rare breed: they have an artistic vision, the means to execute it and a level of professionalism that is rare among their peers. They are among the few vendors who we can wholeheartedly recommend with no asterisks or fine prints; a team we had a great rapport with and one we will happily work with again. Now, since you’ve made it this far, you might as well read the whole story. We stumbled upon George and Haris through a series of unfortunate events. We had started off our quest to select a filmmaker for our wedding by collecting referrals from married friends and acquaintances (they all came with “buts”), followed by an old-fashioned internet search in wedding directories and portals and had come up with a long-list of more than 50 professionals. Soft Focus were not in this list. Not because they had been disqualified but simply because they were impossible to find online (this has been the subject of many long conversations ever since and George is working to rectify it). Most of those 50 professionals did not make the shortlist: We scrutinised every artist’s portfolio and the bulk of them were not up to our standard. Some had issues with the cinematography (flat, lifeless colours, uninteresting angles and motion, problematic night clips, lack of emotions), others with the post (bad or no colour grading, bad use of effects, etc) and most of them with the edit (bad storytelling - most of the edits followed the exact same script, wrong tempo, wrong music, etc). We contacted the few who made the first cut and either their rates were exorbitant (to put this into perspective, we were planning a six figure wedding so we were not looking for the cheapest alternative but merely for vendors who would not rob us blind) or their attitude was uninspiring (to say the least). So, after this month long process, we sat down with our top pick, analysed every aspect of our agreement and agreed on a short grace period before signing the contract. And when we contacted them in order to meet again and shake hands, they informed us that they had already given our date to somebody else, regardless of our oral agreement. Then we sat down with our second pick, agreed on everything and -as the need had just come up- assigned them to shoot and edit a short commercial video. The video was never delivered. We had to reshoot the whole thing and, to this day, this team has not offered an apology or an explanation for their actions. They simply disappeared. With all this valuable time lost and with no other satisfactory option from our initial list, we had to restart from scratch and a couple weeks later we had a new short list at hand. Soft Focus were not in this list either, once again because we were unaware of their existence. Thankfully though, our top pick was unavailable for our dates and referred us to his good friends and partners, George and Haris. Now, we won’t elaborate further on our wedding story but here are some key reasons for choosing Soft Focus, based on our experience not just with them but with all the other professionals we either contacted or worked with: - The end result was really good. During our research, we viewed 100’s of films from internationally acclaimed teams, so our expectations were shaped and influenced by the works of the very best in the business.Soft Focus delivered on our vision on all key aspects: photography, audio engineering, grading and editing. - They did not treat this like a typical client - vendor relationship but as a partnership. We were demanding customers. We wanted to be involved in every part of the creative process. Soft Focus listened to our suggestions, they advised us on best practices and included them in their work. They went out of their way to accommodate our requests. They used techniques and tools that they do not traditionally use (such as gimbal, night time drone, advanced colour corrections) just because we had requested it. We wanted them to focus on the reception party so they kept shooting for as long as the party kept going. On the contrary, some teams explicitly told us that they would not take directions from the couple or that they would decide when to stop shooting and other teams had agreed with our requests at first but disregarded them at execution. - They cooperated perfectly with the other teams (photographers, planners, etc) and we barely noticed their presence during our events. This is very important since a. The couple needs to have the least amount of distractions during the event and b. Bad coordination between the professionals (such as videographer, photographer, DJ, etc) can lead to a bad result from each one. In fact, we are pretty certain that they helped resolve certain situations with other professionals at the wedding, even though they could have just ignored them. - They delivered the edit sooner than the deadline set on the contract. We have heard from LOTS of people that their videos had been delivered many months past the deadline. - They delivered much more footage than what was agreed. All in all, a team you should work with or, at the very least, consider for your wedding film.

We had a wedding in Kefalonia and wow what can I say. We are so happy with the service we received and it is worth every penny. Felt comfortable relaxed throughout the day and the service was offered and captured all of the first dance cake cutting etc. could not recommend enough 🤍

After seeing some of his excellent work we were sure that he would be the one to capture our special day.He captured the important big moments but also all the little details in a visually stunning and creative way combined with his unique emotional approach.The best decision by far!
