Wow! What can I say about Runaway Island! We were booked at a place at another place in Florda that was hit by both of the hurricanes 5 weeks before our wedding. While we were trying to find what we were going to do as we had family coming from out of the country and we could not reschedule, we started looking in the Panama/Destin area. We reached out to so many places and Devin's responses and willingness to work with us in such a short period of time was so refreshing during a time of stress with us not knowing what we were going to do. Before the wedding, quick communication and the venue's willingness to work with us on special menu items from his home country was amazing! The week of and actual ceremony and reception went so well. Everything was in it's place and taken care without me having to worry about one thing! The staff/owners made this day so welcoming and comfortable. They went above and beyond. I would recommend Runaway Island to anyone wanting to get married on the beach!

Saltwater Grill was where I just had my wedding reception dinner 6/18/11. The restraunt is beautiful from the 25,000 gallon saltwater aquarium to the wonderful variety of food from sea food to steaks. Trish the manager of the restraunt was my rock in planning my wedding. She is very professional and efficiant. I planned my wedding from over 700 miles away and we stayed in contact by e-mail. She answered every question I had in a very timely mannor. I was able to have all the decorations and flowers dropped off at the restraunt and they set everything up for me while I pampered myself at the spa. Who wants to spend hours on the day of your wedding decorating your reception venue? If you need a reception site in PCB give trish a call and she will take good care of you! Finns did an amazing job catering our wedding. The fish tacos tasted great and we had so many compliments on the food. Even though their specialty is fist tacos they were willing and able to make whatever we wanted for our wedding. They did a great job with the presentation of the food and were constantly checking on everything. I would recommend Finns for any event!

We hired a wedding planner and Sharky’s for catering. Our wedding planner ghosted us, but Amanda Foster and her team jumped right in and took care of all the set up for our wedding reception. When it started drizzling, the ladies took charge of setting up our large tents! I cannot express how lucky we were to have them on site! The ladies smiled and were super polite, while they were doing someone else’s work! The food-from appetizers, dinner, and dessert bar, was fantastic, and our guests raved about it! What could have been a nightmare for us turned into a beautiful experience that we will always treasure!
