The whole experience was very calming and relaxing. I never felt overwhelmed by my choices and overall I felt really at peace. The owner is incredible and the space is as well. I definitely recommend Arctic Rose Bridal!

everything about bateau is amazing. the staff, the gowns, the atmosphere. was so incredibly pleased with their service and also their follow up. best place in anchorage for brides to go to find a wedding dress!

Celeste did my alterations for my Bateau Boutique wedding dress and did such an incredible job! She had me come in multiple times before my big day to make sure the dress fit like a glove, leaving some of the ‘taking in/letting out’ until closer till the big day in case of those little fluctuations that us women tend to have… especially after week long bachelorette parties in hawaii... For my dress there were a few things that I wanted to change and it was no problem at all for her. She was able to remove some of the extra “floof” of my skirt, bring in the bust, remove the bulky pads, create a beautiful bustle, and hem to perfection. She even offered to make a veil for me if I needed one. If you need a wedding dress altered Id say look no further! Celeste is the best!

I was so hesitant to order a dress online, but I absolutely love it. It is a perfect fit. I ordered this for my daughters beach wedding and now she is looking to order her wedding dress from this company as the quality and fit of my dress is so good.

President tuxedo was friendly and compliant in meeting all out needs. My groom looked amazing and we were satisfied with our great deal with them.

I found a wedding dress I loved, but wanted to add full lace sleeves. Aggie made this seemingly daunting task look easy! She is incredibly talented and also completed all the other alterations. The dress couldn't have been more perfect! Her rates are incredibly reasonable and she is a lovely woman who made the stress of major alterations disappear. Well worth the drive to Wasilla if you're in Anchorage!

They did an amazing job on my husband's tuxedo for our wedding and they had a vast selection.

After shopping at the other shops in down I felt defeated, like I was never going to find a dress that I truly loved. On a whim I made an appointment at Orianda’s, and I am so happy that I did. When I arrived to try on dresses Orianda and her daughter created such a welcoming environment. I felt much more comfortable and cared about than I had at the other shops in town that I had visited to try on dresses previously. Once I started trying dresses on, I liked each one better than the one I had just tried on. Orianda was also able to recommend the perfect tailor. Once the alterations were complete, Orianda steamed my dress and even helped me pack it into my carry on before I flew out. She also gave me pointers on how to unpack and store my dress up until the big day once we arrived in Vegas. As someone who had no idea what they were doing, or what they wanted—Orianda definitely knew her stuff, and she was more than willing to provide me with any information or advice I asked for. Absolutely recommend, great experience!
