I found Yang on Instagram while viewing our venue's page and the photographers that others used there. I immediately liked the quality and lighting of Yang's photos. I checked out his website and liked his personal touch so I reached out and he got back to me right away, which is so nice when so many other vendors have you waiting for awhile. We met Yang and everything from start to finish was done thoughtfully, was well organized, explained clearly and the product was high quality! Yang was dependable, professional and easy going! And he's such a nice guy! We had a blast taking pictures on our wedding day and he added so much warmth and joy to the day! He sent us some pictures a few days after the wedding to give us a sneak peak! We were so excited and they came out great! And then a couple weeks later we received the rest and they look so good! The quality is so good and he captured great moments from the night! As we looked at them it brought those moments to life and brought us so much joy!

We had a great experience working with Yang from beginning to end. Yang was very friendly, professional and easy to work with. He was very responsive whenever I reached out via email or text. He helped us be comfortable in front of the camera (my husband doesn't particularly like to take photos haha). He was patient with our families and the various family combos they wanted photos of. We were introduced to Yang’s work by a friend of a friend who had Yang photographed their wedding last year at the same venue. It was helpful that he was familiar with our venue and gave us some tips. His photography aesthetic aligns very well with what we were looking for — bright, happy, romantic! The turn around time for our photos was fast as well. We highly recommend Yang for your wedding or special occasion!

A good friend of mine recommended to consider Yang Lu Photography for my wedding. Choosing a wedding photographer is not an easy task. My husband and I interviewed a few vendors, but Yang sent out because of his neat presentation. After our first video call, we knew exactly what to expect and everything was clear and easy. I asked like 1000 questions and Yang passionately answered all of them. After talking to several other photographers we did not doubt that we only wanted Yang Lu for our wedding.

The process: Yang created a rough timeline with recommendations. We had 4 video appointments in total: initial, mid-way, final, and extra final (we had to re-make our timeline due to daylight saving and we had to meet again to see what could be done)

Our package: we picked the most popular option with 2 photographers. I was skeptical if we needed 2 photographers, but in the end, I am so happy we picked 2. 2photographers mean more angles and a higher chance to capture those special moments.

Payment: Yang offers multiple different packages and a very convenient way of paying in incremental amounts, we had 3 payments, first (when we signed the contract), mid-way, and final.

Challenge: Our wedding was on Nov 5th, 2023 which was the day of daylight savings, and we didn't know about it till a week before our appointment. Originally we didn't plan to have the first look, but because we lost one hour of daylight we decided to change it and Yang was happy to assist in creating a new timeline

The day of: Yang arrived on site on time and started working right away. When you hire Yang you don't need to worry about anything, he knows what he is doing and you can just enjoy your day. That is what I was doing, I trusted him 100% and I am very happy I did.

The result: The wedding gallery was ready in 3!! weeks after the wedding, my husband and I were pleasantly surprised because we were expecting them in a month. Fist teaser was ready almost the next day after the wedding we were so surprised and so happy to see some of our beautiful wedding pictures so soon. Wedding pictures turned out STUNNING! I can't even count how many of them are my the most favorites!
The section of the photo gallery that I absolutely love is the first dance, dancing, and grand exit. I want to highlight that Yang did some black-and-white versions of our pictures and they are THE BEST!
