Woman’s Club Inc., located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, has quickly become a popular meeting place for club meetings and social events, including weddings! Even though the club’s initial mission is to provide a sacred meeting place for women of all denominations, the space provides affordable services to weddings of all kinds. The history of the venue continues to unfold as a space recognized for its civic pride, philanthropic generosity, and strong cultural atmosphere. All couples are welcome to utilize the space for their wedding event or other related celebrations.

History

Originally organized in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 1921, Woman’s Club Inc. began as a meeting of representatives from some 15 organizations to discuss the need for a central meeting place for women who were participating in the different civic, social, and cultural groups that were rapidly being formed during and after World War II. Since that time, the organization has grown to the capacity of over 300 members who all want to preserve the historic meeting place for women.

Facilities and Capacity

The clubhouse itself contains two event spaces that can accommodate up to 180 of your closest guests. The space is all indoor, and it maintains a classic, yet elegant vibe. The clubhouse can be set up according to your specific requests prior to the start of the rental time. There is also maid service available to work with the event rentals available to you.

Services Offered

Woman’s Club Inc. provides wedding event packages to accommodate a variety of wedding couples with different styles, tastes, and budgets. Wedding packages are designed to keep wedding couples within the limits of their specific budget. The club can provide services to bridal showers, wedding ceremonies, elopements, wedding receptions, engagement parties, and rehearsal dinners. There is also a kitchen staff available that can coordinate kitchen services as long as the wedding couple hires an outside caterer. Other services offered include:
