I feel so fortunate to have been able to get married here! The property is absolutely stunning! My fiancé really wanted to be married near big oak trees and I really wanted to be near water, and Wingate has all that and more! Sarah, the site manager, was such a joy to work with! Both locals and out of town guests were so impressed with Wingate! Again, I feel so fortunate that this is where we were able to get married and host all our friends and family. It was awesome!Sent on 06/19/2019

Nothing short of amazing!
Where do I begin? From the get go we automatically fell in love. You couldn’t beat the prices, the scenery, and of course Sarah (the venue’s wedding coordinator) was so sweet and accommodating from the very beginning. It was everything we had imagined it would be. I had pictured church pews on the lawn by the oak tree with Spanish moss at my wedding, and they created that for me. My favorite part of the whole experience was working with Sarah. If we wouldn’t have had her as a coordinator, I wouldn’t have had someone to help bustle my dress, make sure we ate, keep the ceremony and reception organized, and so much more. She was a life saver! And we can’t thank her enough for everything she did to make our day special. I would recommend this venue to anyone!Sent on 11/14/2018

The Most Perfect Wedding Venue for an Outdoor Wedding
Wingate Plantation was the first vendor we booked for our wedding back in October. This place is truly a gem. Every step of this process with Sarah was amazing. I highly, highly recommend this venue. It gives you everything you'd want out of a Charleston wedding: dreamy oak trees, a large tent for dinner and dancing and amenities that are rarely included like tables and chairs. We're from Atlanta, so our wedding was a destination wedding for 95% of our guest. We found that when we visited the other gorgeous venues in Charleston there were a lot of restrictions that made us feel like we would be rushed on our wedding day. Wingate was amazing because we felt like our guest truly got the opportunity to stay a while and enjoy themselves. We love this place so much and I guarantee you won't regret it.Sent on 02/07/2019
