We interviewed a lot of photographers because we wanted amazing photos. Well, our photos turned out amazing, but our experience with them was not as good. We live in Portland and they (it's a husband and wife team) live in Corvallis, OR. Every time we wanted to meet with them, it took several attempts to get a hold of them and they refused to meet anywhere except right by their house. We tried to see if they could meet us half way, but they refused on several occasions. So we ended up only communicating with them over the phone until the wedding day. Juan Carlos is a professional photographer (for about 20 years) and he is teaching his wife (Sandra). After our ceremony, they changed the plan and had us take formal pictures with family, go into the ballroom for 5 minutes then leave to take pictures in the vineyard. So our family didn't get to talk to us or really see us until a couple hours into the reception. We really liked having time to walk around the vineyard to take pictures with each other, and it would have been romantic if Juan wasn't constantly yelling at his wife. I felt so bad for her...he treated her like a dumb assistant and acted annoyed to be there. It really ruined the mood for us. We ended up missing dinner because the pictures took so long, and they seemed upset at us that they didn't have time to eat either...like it was our fault! Anyways, the pictures we got of us were awesome, but we didn't really get any pictures of people that attended our wedding. The ceremony photos were all of us (I had no pictures of my parents except for the formal ones right after the ceremony). We paid extra to have them stay and photograph the reception all night, but we didn't get very many...and we got none of my mom or my husband's dad. It was almost like they weren't there. I wouldn't recommend them.
