Just a short 15-minute drive from downtown Annapolis, Whitehall is an expansive waterfront property that hosts approximately 10 exclusive weddings yearly. Offering stunning, unobstructed views of the shimmering Chesapeake Bay, and expansive green lawns, this fully-outdoor venue offers a setting unlike any other. The rolling wide-front expanse is ideally situated to enjoy miles of shimmering waterfront, coastal breezes, passing sailboats and the golden glow of sunset.
As Maryland's premier waterfront wedding venue, Whitehall stretches along a mile and a half of shoreline, encompassing Meredith Creek, Whitehall Creek, and Whitehall Bay. With captivating coastal views and serene countryside, this lovingly restored National Historic Landmark offers a unique backdrop for your wedding day.
The grounds consists of a 115-acre peninsula surrounding the main house with an array of venue sites to offer a completely customizable event experience. Each of the sites has unique look and feel, allowing ceremony, cocktail, and reception to remain separate and hidden from one another. Offering an array of incredible photo-opportunities.
The cost to rent the site is $19,750. Tenting, power and restroom trailers will need to be rented to turn Whitehall into a wedding ready site, easily provided by our trusted partner vendors. My Dream Wedding Venue!
From the minute my husband & I stepped on the Whitehall estate, we knew it was the perfect location to host our sequel wedding ceremony. We wanted to embrace Maryland's gorgeous coastline, and achieve an elevated but approachable vibe. From the historic home to the stunning views, Whitehall delivered. Eddie was wonderful to work with, and the big day ran smoothly even through some unexpected weather challenges. I cannot recommend Whitehall enough!

Perfect spot for a tented wedding
We absolutely loved Whitehall - the view on the water and all of the openness - of the lawn and also the view over the water- is unparalleled. The mansion is quaint and historic which was fun to go past (we didn't do the open to walk through). My husband used the cabin we had included in the package as where he and his groomsmen got ready, which was perfect. It didn't hurt that we had absolutely perfect weather! Honestly, this was the wedding of my dreams and many people were saying one of the best they've been to. I'm so glad we chose Whitehall.

Beautiful Venue With Endless Options
We have had the pleasure of working on a handful of weddings at Whitehall and let's just say the property did not disappoint. Whitehall is such a charming venue, just outside the heart of Annapolis, that truly embodies the beauty of Maryland. With stunning views of the water, acres of land, and the mansion in the background, Whitehall provides couples with a venue that can be turned into the wedding of their dreams. The design options at Whitehall are endless! We highly recommend Whitehall to any couple looking to get married.

Magical venue & amazing management team
Whitehall is such a beautiful venue. The event felt magical! There's a gorgeous historical mansion, a waterfront and the entire venue is HUGE!
IMPACT Collective manages Whitehall and they were very professional and made sure we have everything we needed. They helped make the event planning smooth and enjoyable!
I wish I could have another wedding just so I can do this whole process over again haha maybe an anniversary?

The ultimate crab cakes and football venue
As soon as I took the virtual tour for Whitehall I told my (then) fiancé that if we booked an on-site tour there was no chance I wouldn’t want to (have to?!) get married here. The venue did not disappoint and I still remember not being able to stop smiling the first time we walked the grounds. Whitehall was truly a dream wedding venue and I wouldn’t have changed anything about our experience if I did it all over again! The site is beautiful and the grounds are so large that there’s so many options to choose from for how you envision everything taking place. The staff and the grounds crew were all so great and accommodating as well and every part of the day was special in its own way. This venue is amazing for larger our of town weddings and it’s a great way for people who have never been to Annapolis to experience the true crab cakes and football experience!

Absolutely Amazing
Whitehall is an absolutely amazing place to have your wedding! My husband and I held our ceremony and reception at Whitehall in May 2021 and everything about it was perfect. We wanted our guests to experience all of the beauty Whitehall has to offer so we decided to hold our ceremony in the front of the manor house, our cocktail hour in the back middle lawn facing the water and our reception under a beautiful sailcloth tent to the left of our cocktail hour. We hired Cristina Calvert as our wedding planner. She has done multiple weddings at Whitehall so she already knew the ins and outs which made wedding planning a breeze for us. She truly made our wedding dreams come true! I can’t recommend Whitehall and Cristina enough!
