We hired What If for our wedding reception. Amanda was very helpful throughout the entire process and Joanna made sure everything was perfect the week of the wedding. The a la carte menu allowed us to personalize our menu and stay within our budget. Our guests gushed about the food for weeks after the wedding and many said it was the best wedding food they ever had. What If provided the linens, bartenders, and helped set everything up the day of. We cannot wait to get back to the restaurant to reminisce!

Great place to have a rehearsal dinner! The food was delicious and they were very professional. There was a private room and fit comfortably. The price was worth it because the food was so good! I highly recommend this for a rehearsal dinner to relax and let them do all of the work!! They accommodated the gluten free guests too!

The food and service that What If... provided were outstanding! The hors d'oeuvre were so popular with my guests that several of the servers were followed around the venue, and the food was so amazing that almost everyone cleaned their plate. What If... allowed us to use some of their specialty martini recipes, which made the night just a little more enchanting. I did not know that I had run out of a beer during the course of the night - the professional staff had fixed the situation with my father for me, letting me enjoy the evening. They were so cheerful throughout the night, as well!

Update : Only after posting a review did the owner respond publicly — not to take responsibility, but to deny, deflect, and accuse. Rather than addressing the poor communication, she chose to argue semantics and question the validity of honest feedback. That kind of response speaks louder than any review could. The lack of professionalism in handling customer concerns is deeply disappointing. I hope future guests receive better treatment than we did. She then refused to acknowledge any wrong doing and even going so far as to pay friends to give her good reviews to counter balance the slew of negative reviews.

We reached out to What If in Hershey about catering our wedding (around 50 guests) at the Peter Allen House. The reply we received was curt and dismissive, offering no real explanation or follow-up. That tone alone was enough to make us reconsider doing business with them.
