Monica and the Weekend Navigators team are fantastic. I had never used a travel agent before but now I am recommending them left, right and center to all of my family and friends. I utilized them to book travel for my sister's wedding in Rome, Italy. From the beginning they made it a seamless and fun filled trip, starting with finding the quickest flight that was non-stop from Miami to Rome and booking it for my family, to having a private cab driver waiting for us with our names on a sign when we landed in Rome. We were taken directly to the Waldorf Astoria, easily one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. I remember looking online and thinking "I can't afford that place" but she somehow got us rates that were half the list price online. We had a beautiful view from the highest hilltop in Rome and one scenic picture I took is still my most popular picture on Instagram. We like the variety of staying in different places so she also got us an amazing room at the Boscolo Exedra Roma, which is in one of the main plazas in Rome, and we were treated like royalty there too. Monica also had a great recommendation on a local restaurant she had previously visited where we were taught how to make Italian pizza from scratch. Not only did we get to learn, we got to eat our hard work too! From there we traveled the countryside, visiting my family's original hometown of Avellino, which is a town near Naples and was one of my favorite parts of our trip. Again, based on the Weekend Navigators team's recommendation we had a tour including food and wine at the Feudi di San Gregorio, an amazing vineyard atop a nearby mountain that we never could have found on our own. The highlight of our trip was watching my sister get married at Sant'Anna dei Palafrenieri, the only parish church in the Vatican, then parading through the area right in front of St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican. The wedding went off without a hitch and we have a lot of great pictures to remember it by. Overall it was a completely amazing trip and Monica knew all the right places for us to enjoy it the fullest. After I raving about it when I got back, one of my best friends already booked their honeymoon with her and they told me the experience working with Monica was great as well. I highly recommend the Weekend Navigators team to anyone looking for overseas travel, weddings, cruises or anything else.
